247 and Rivals are both very high on him, which means he's probably underrated on the Composite. Scout and ESPN are dragging him down.

So what happened? Not trying to be a jerk, but we can't read the article and all we can see is that he's 100% PSU.

Is he visiting?

Should have went for a single or double instead of the headlock. Probably his go to move.
I learned that they push the double leg takedown quite a bit with the younger kids. Best thing to do is counter it by teaching your kid to sprawl well. When they go for the legs you kick your legs back and put your weight on top of them, force them to the ground. From top sprawl you get leverage and can attack your opponent a bunch of ways, plus they'll expend energy trying to get you off of them. I was a bit miffed, just as my son was getting into wrestling we had to pull him out for other reasons. It's a fun sport, and the best part is you don't deal with daddy ball where coaches pick favorites, you can't do that in wrestling.

All four of my sons wrestled. The youngest was a two time state qualifier and the next youngest was ranked #1 in the state. Kids in MS love the headlock, but you don't see it nearly as much in HS as they are experienced enough to counter it. Love that who wrestles is decided on the mat and not by preferential treatment.
