He wasn't invited.
That's like your neighbor that you hate breaks into your house and sets up shop in a guest room of yours. Then some random from another city negotiates peace between you two and you have no say in it and they are offering your neighbor the guest room and you have no option to get it back.
Feels like you're arguing just to argue when I agree he should be there. Did you misconstrue what I originally posted what would happen with what I would like to see happen? I agree he wasn't invited, but before they set the date, he said he wasn't going to attend because Trump didn't call him first. If he's not going to attend, why invite him?
For clarification:
1. I would love to see Russia get their ass kicked.
2. I would love to see Ukraine maintain all the land they had prior to Russia invading.
3. Zelenskyy has all the right to refuse anything that is presented to him.
What I see happening,
not what I want to happen:
1. A settlement between Trump and Putin will be reached and provided to Zelenskyy.
2. The settlement will allow Russia to keep most of what they currently occupy.
3. The settlement will include Russia treating Ukraine as an independent country and not part of Russia.
4. The agreement will call for Russia to cease any further actions for expanding in any country.
5. The settlement will include the U.S. providing more aid the Ukraine.
What Zelenskyy can do:
1. Reject the settlement in its entirety. (probably lose future aid from the U.S. and hope the rest of Europe will step in).
2. Counter the settlement with his own.
3. Accept the settlement and continue to receive aid from the U.S.
