I’m going to reserve judgment, but both Texas and OSU fans made it seem like he was solid for them

Prister: multiple NFL teams have expressed interest in Jim Leonard for a DC position.

Might explain the apparent shift.

If he was safeties and co-dc with Mickens the main guy back there, I actually think it’s quite a strong move. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that is the case

Ash is horrible. Texas fans consider him one of the worst coordinators in their history. Absolutely atrocious

Contrary to Ash, Golden actually had success as a head coach. He totally got fucked at Miami. Chris Ash was shit everywhere he’s been. And he didn’t even call plays when he was co-dc for Ohio state.
You can’t compare the talent Golden had at Miami and the talent Rutgers pulls.

Outside of 2011/2012 Wisconsin and 2014/2015 OSU (as a co-DC), his defenses have given up a TON of yards
