Start Love, turn it over to Price and Williams to wear the DL down and bring Love in 3rd/4th qtr.
I doubt they’re doing anything strenuous. I’m a big runner and after marathons or ultras, we’ll still go for quick 3 miles or so runs. It’s much more beneficial and keeps you loose and from being stoved up. Take solace in the ND training staff and nutrition team … they know what the hell they are doing. Not sure why Love or Cross are doing drills at this point? Get them rest.
100%. That run was pure guts and heart on that TD. Spun out of one tackle, fought through not one...but TWO other guys...then stretched out for the goal line as another was hitting him...all on a bum knee. Legend. All heart and true grit. His touchdown run is the embodiment of this team.
Legendary run. Truly.
Brings back memories of Brook's run vs Michigan in 92.I never saw it until tonight and maybe I'm nuts but the comp here couldn't be more clear to me, at least for now: Sweetness
Just bought mine
I would really put them up there as one of my favorites as well. 2005 squad when I was in college was a joy to watch offensively with Quinn, Walker, Stovall, Shark, Fasano. My youngest son has an 8th birthday coming up in a couple weeks. His interest in football has grown this year after playing his first season in the fall. He knows I love Notre Dame but I can't say he had shown a big interest
...that is until the past couple months. He started asking, "when does Notre Dame play?" And started watching consistently, including nearly every minute of the 3 playoff games. He made his wishlist for his birthday yesterday. The #1 item listed is a #4 Love jersey...
New ND fans are being created in droves because of this team and these players. This is my favorite ND team of my adult life, and I don't think it's all that close.
