I don't know a lot about Ryan Roberts, does he ever get good ND recruiting tidbits? I couldn't stop thinking about his comment about one of the ND recruits he's hearing about having "NFL bloodlines." I know we're saying Stroman has a brother in the NFL, but that term to me usually denotes a Father or maybe an Uncle who was in the NFL. Then thinking about how we still could use an additional Z receiver transfer and that brought me to thinking about Mycah Pittman. His father of course was long-time NFL RB, Michael Pittman Sr. Anyway, he left Utah in November after two years at Utah due to nagging, painful injuries and concerns about pain killer Rx he was taking for that. But apparently, he has one year of eligibility remaining (he's 24!) and entered the portal in Dec and has been quiet since then. Maybe ND is taking a flier on him and seeing where it goes and, in return, Mycah has an opportunity to have a strong year on a good, well-coached team before trying to get to the NFL? His last strong (and healthy) year was with FSU in '22 when he had 32 catches for 330 yds and 3 TDs (and he was 9.4 yds/ret. punt returner). Am I smoking crack?
