I was listening to Sirius radio yesterday and not sure who the guys were and guessing all speculation, but they were stating whether Carter plays or not is strictly a business decision. They intimated his injury was not bad, but he has decided to check out for the year. They then went into the financials and what is the responsibility for a player who has accepted NiL money. Pretty severe claim to me without knowing something. We will see if he plays come game time and may never know how serious his current injury.

He obviously nowhere near 100% and resting him would give him 18 days of rest before the Natty. We’re at the point where anything that happens outside the margins of what their algorithms can calculate are “lucky” and therefore invalid. If the 2003 AFC championship happened today you’d have people arguing the Colts were the better team because the Patriots won by only 10 despite “lucking into” 4 interceptions
