I don’t think Boise has the horses on D to stop Penn State much. If they want to stay in this, they are going to have to score lots of points to stay with them.
That has nothing to do with my OP, which is that griping about others' success and celebrating someone more successful falling to your level instead of aiming to surpass them by climbing up to theirs is a loser's mentality and should be beneath you guys.I like him, but his true colors are coming out a little bit.
Bishop you can't deny that the SEC was literally built on the backs of Saban and Meyer and everyone else benefited. And of those 13 how many were Saban?
I agree with you, I almost feel any none conference champion should be eliminated if they hold 3 losses. The selection process does need some tweaking to it. I'm not suggesting that Alabama, Ole Miss, or South Carolina should have gotten in, but it hasn't been perfect yet.
For example, I'd argue that 2023 Georgia was the best team in college football; however, they didn't get a bid. In terms of this season, I'm okay with Indiana and maybe SMU (I struggle with that one) getting in over the aforementioned three SEC schools. Ultimately, I don't think a 3 loss team deserves a bid, but the seeding this year was jacked up. For example, I think Notre Dame is a much better team than Penn State. Yet, Penn State gets to play SMU and Boise State, while Notre Dame was rewarded with Indiana and Georgia. The selection process, as it currently stands, is flawed and needs to be adjusted.

Sure. You comfort yourself with that. That's no better than the rest of those whining about the SEC's success. Honest to God I thought most ND fans had more pride than this. This is Auburn level pathetic. The SEC was built on the back of $ and an exceptionally high tolerance for low education standards and criminal behavior. Lol.

You're defending being envious and whining about others' success instead aiming to surpass it. A lot of people here will recognize the truth when they hear it and realize that what I've pointed out is a bad approach and attitude, and a very bad look for ND fans. A few will just get butthurt over it.Time for you to transfer back to an SEC message board buddy. You are defending mediocrity by saying we are above calling out what is right in front of our eyes. ESPN riding the SEC all season isn't beneath us it is what is deserved!
What does that have to do with my OP?So what is there besides Flordia, Bama, and Georgia winning championships? When's the last time Ole Miss, SCar, Auburn, or Tennessee had won the conference and made a legitimate contention for a championship?
It’s pretty much general knowledge that teams in the SEC cheated for decades by paying players, consistently had some of the worst graduation rates along with the highest arrest rates of players when compared to other conferences.Sure. You comfort yourself with that. That's no better than the rest of those whining about the SEC's success. Honest to God I thought most ND fans had more pride than this. This is Auburn level pathetic.

It’s just a natural reaction from champion individuals to the weird cult like SEC stuff. It’s fun to mock for example Scientology, Amway and the SEC etc.13 of the last 18 NC's says that's envy talking. Stop whining and acting hurt by the SEC. It's pathetic. ND is supposed to be bigger than that. Top their success instead of griping about it. Do you want to win because your opponent slowed down or because you got faster?
I don't think so. They are softPSU might be a problem.

I tend to agree. They are unfortunately going to look like a juggernaut against Boise, though…I don't think so. They are soft
I mean technically players are being paid all over so ummmm isn't that surpassing what the SEC has done? That has nothing to do with my OP, which is that griping about others' success and celebrating someone more successful falling to your level instead of aiming to surpass them by climbing up to theirs is a loser's mentality and should be beneath you guys.
