Trading Carlton Davis III to the Lions left a hole at cornerback for Tampa Bay. Morrison is a ball hawk with nine interceptions over the past two seasons, and he broke up 13 passes in 2023 alone, tied for eighth most in the FBS. A true press-man perimeter defender, Morrison has very good footwork, but his grabby nature when matching patterns will need coaching.

He's really good in press coverage and gets his hands on the ball before it arrives to the receiver. The ball skills are impressive. Morrison had nine interceptions and 17 pass breakups over his first two seasons. But his 2024 season is over after suffering a hip injury.

Evans really needs to come back IMO, He looks so much less athletic than he did last year pre-injury. Right now I feel like he’s a fourth round pick type, But has upside to the second with a good fifth year senior year.

I also will not be surprised if BenMo Slips out of the first. With his injury and size, I’m not sure if he’s going to be able to play outside in the NFL. Is someone really going to spend A first on a slot corner?

I think this is incredibly generous. There are probably a dozen tight ends ahead of him, depending on who declares, and he might not be among the first 200 picks where we sit right now. Just last night alone Gadsden (Syracuse) and Stowers (Vanderbilt) showed they're both pretty far ahead of Evans at this point.

The draft will start to reveal itself more in the months ahead, but I'm heavily inclined to agree with you that Evans come back based on a football decision alone. Even then, him getting up to second round status in 2026 might be a stretch.

He'd almost certainly have to attend the combine and bang out a very good pro day to get to the fourth round in this draft.

He’s broken multiple bones which theoretically, not a doctor, shouldn’t be the concern of a multiple torn ACL or other injuries type guy.

I do agree with that. I've just seen quite a few posts from draft twitterati talking about how he's a hidden gem and the real QB1, which is a joke. I think he played 1 full year out of 7.
