This bowl season has been fantastic so far. So many games just waaaay off the rails.

In one of the many game clinching (2 point) OT plays Narduzzi put his TE in at QB. Faked a handoff and rolled right receiver was wide open and he overthrew him. Pass couldn’t have been more than five yards in length. No defender in sight.

Had to be one of the dumbest plays ever. Pitt’s QB play was bad but he certainly could have thrown the ball accurately for five yards

The play may have worked with the QB running it. But I can only assume that the reason that the receiver was wide open was because the TE was under center.

In 4 of the 5 NIU losses they were all by one score and in those games they statistically beat their opponents just not on the scoreboard. Much better team than 8-5 actually. One real loss was 20-9 to a hot Chuck Martin squad.

I hope so but you would expect a defensive minded HC to make damn sure they knew how to stop triple option w/ a month to prepare. That’s what kills the academies in bowl season & eventually will affect them in conference play when they see the same teams on an annual basis.

Was surprised OU is only -2.5. Have a hard time seeing how Navy will consistently move the ball.

In retrospect, Navy did put up a better fight than Army, just had a million uncharacteristic mistakes.

Bowl games don’t matter but I would probably recommend Venables not lose this game

Brutal way to go into Year 4
