I don’t buy the Underwood to Michigan smoke. Loy did say that they don’t get Meadows if they don’t get Underwood

There’s rumors his family was at the game last week and that he’s going to visit at some point. I don’t think Meadows visits there if Underwood isn’t serious about them.

Wiltfong confirms Meadows is visiting for FSU

One side I am like ok take him and if he doesn’t play oh well.

On the other I am like don’t waste a single penny of NIL money on him. He already told people he wants to play in the sec (that hasn’t changed) and he wants Benjamin. And to me he isn’t worth a lot of money right now.

My read on the situation is if Underwood sticks with LSU, ND has a better shot. If Underwood flips to Michigan, LSU is out, but Michigan has the upper hand

For the amount of time that ND has recruited Meadows I like that they are still pursuing him. We won't know if he is a Colzie or Johnson 2.0 until he gets here and I'd take the chance.

Honestly I'm there too. I would be curious if ND could swing back to some of their other targets at WR for less money than Meadows is asking for and have more for the portal. Maybe a JonAnthony Hall, Dylan Robinson or a Malik Clark.

It is crazy to think this way but I am in the same boat. "How much of this year's salary cap hit is he?"...crazy way to look at it but is the reality

I fully understand these are the guys we need to land to be a blue blood, but even if he signs up to take on the challenge of playing at ND I hesitate to rely on him sticking around for the long haul. I couldn't imagine being a college coach now and having to keep all the egos in check so they don't transfer. I see why dudes bolt to the league and the Sabans of the world say hell with it I'll just let ESPN pay me millions to watch and talk about football

It’s such a delicate balance between stacking talent and negatively impacting your culture with too many *me* guys.
