Not our year, but glad to see a W. I hope they improve and figure it out when it matters.

1. One of the hallmarks of a poorly coached team is repeated mistakes with "little things"... while Louisville out-mistaked Notre Dame today, it was jarring to see the following:
--Two gifted TDs on fumbles
--Up 10 going for it on 4th and 3 at midfield really doesn't do anything for you... fine with that in the first half, 4th quarter no way
--Multiple false starts again
--I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff

2. Injuries. Good grief. We are 2 or 3 more injuries away from being cooked. We are either cursed or it's an S&C issue or both. Most ligament injuries have nothing to do with S&C but there could be contributing factors.

3. Credit to Louisville's QB who I thought made some dynamic throws and their WRs had some drops but also a couple unreal catches.

Did Gray not play at all? Missed some of the game because of family obligations.

Are there limits on characters within a post?

Traore
Pendleton
Faison
Morrison (returned)

I know they reported Morrison as an injury during the broadcast. When he came back out, he had a gauze wrap on his left elbow which means he probably got an IV for some muscle cramping.

It fits with Zora seeing him go into the locker room during the game, but I doubt it was an injury.

Credit Louisville. They had multiple plays where I said "wow" out loud.

The number 1 is good - but that head but play he made I thought he could have been done for targeting. Ugly.
Shuler is continuing to develop into a great DB. He is everywhere. A bit Hamilton like.

I think we need to have an IE gentlemen’s agreement that it’s OKAY to be critical of MF without that meaning you’re rooting against the team.

You can criticize things and people you care about. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

That said, we gutted it out. 4-1 going into the bye. Still in contention.

Go Irish. ☘️
No.

I haven’t watched a full game since NIU and Saturdays have been much more fun. Way better to come back to an ND win without watching the awful. Gonna assume we are a playoff team 😂
Sorry to hear that. this game was awesome!

Stupid personal fouls.
