Can't believe citizens in California vote for these brain-dead politicians. I guess that's why those politicians want non citizens to vote

Being in Denver it's a real freaking problem and puts a lot of stress on our infrastructure. Would be great if Texas and other border states weren't bussing them to us and instead using the money they get from the federal government for supporting them instead of bus fare

Thats right. Keep them in the border states where they belong. Let them deal with the 'real freaking problem'.

By the way, aren't Denver and Aurora sanctuary cities? It seems you would be more welcoming and compassionate.

One state gets billions in federal funding to deal with the problem and mine doesn't. I'd be all for taking them if our infrastructure could support it

How about just not letting them come here illegally in the first place?

Agreed it would be great if the Trump didn't have the Republicans block a bipartisan immigration bill
You wanna think about that one a minute? The Biden admin allowed several million to come here illegally - encouraged them to, in fact - then tried to pass a bill that provides for amnesty for millions of illegals and allows up to two million more per year. And it's Trump's fault there are gangs of illegals in Denver terrorizing neighborhoods, or millions of illegals overwhelming the system? Really? Give me a break.

Dude no one in Congress gives a crap about actually fixing the problem. George W had a bill that couldn't get passed then Obama had basically the same bill and the Republicans voted against. And now Biden. If anyone actually cared it could've been resolved years ago

Consider that one side has done everything in its power to encourage millions to come here illegally, resisted all attempts to stem the flow, and has recently begun discussing the idea of a path to citizenship so they can vote. The other side is never going to go for that. THIS is the reason the problem doesn't get fixed.

The idea of path to citizenship isn't something new, it was a major part of Bush's Bill of 2007 and the idea at the time was that it would boom voting for the Republicans due to Christian conservative nature of Hispanics mainly Mexicans since that was where the majority were coming from then.

I wholeheartedly support bussing them straight to the people who voted for this.

You do realize besides immigrants Colorado has a large Hispanic population?

It looks ridiculous now in light of him stating that these gang extortion takeovers are just these Mayor's 'imagination'.

It also doesn't help that Denvers mayor is stating that the real fear here is making citizens wary of these 'newcomers'.

Because, bending over backwards to not appear to be xenophobic is more important than protecting your American citizens from being fucking extorted and held hostage from foreign criminal gangs.

Even larger with the Dems deliberately opening the border- plus the Chinese, African, Asian, etc..

"The open border policies of the Biden Harris administration were not a bug, but a feature of their system to convert illegals into votes."

Remember when those on the left vehemently denied this and said Conservatives were overreacting and being ridiculous to claim this was the left's intention?

I think we were compared to crazy people. Conspiracy theories are just 18 months early.

It's 1000% an issue that needs a solution. I live in Denver currently and have seen how the immigrants directly affect my community. By and large this specific situation is isolated to a few buildings in Aurora. That doesn't mean the rest of the area has seen an increase of immigrants and homeless people because of it. I'm not trying to defend or deflect from how the Biden administration has handled the situation because it can definitely be better. Crime rates among migrants are still lower than for citizens and the rent bad stuff like this that makes the news tend to be isolated and not the norm. I personally compare this situation to what we see in Chicago and O block and other apartment complexes over run by gangs. Both situations need solutions and aren't the norm.

I will say the voting part is a concern but the focus should be on how immigrant population directly affects how Congress is made up and it's where the focus of outrage should be.

I will say we've seen some creative ways by this administration of trying to entice migrants to not come here by working with Central American countries and businesses by creating jobs.

My last point on this is I view the matter similarly to guns in our country. Both immigration and guns are a pillar of what our country were founded on. Migrants escaping religious and government persecution. My family is Eastern European, Irish and Italian and came over escaping WW1. The Eastern European and Italian side came over to escape the war and the Irish dude looking for a better life. Much of my early family members due to heritage were cast as gang members and thugs solely because of where they came from. There's definitely bad people amongst them but we shouldn't allow that judge all of them the same.

Please don't conflate legal immigration and the migrants who came here legally with the issue at hand: those flooding our border and coming in illegally. We're all for legal immigration and understand our ancestors came here in centuries past through Ellis Island or through other legal paths.

I'm not, plenty didn't come here legally back then either, the only family of mine that came here legally were the Italians. And the Mafia immigrated here legally
