Looking forward to it. I like the 6 hour time difference, makes it easier for me to follow live events.

I was in Paris in April while everything was being set up for the Games.

It's going to be quite the spectacle. They've put a lot of events smack dab in the middle of the city, including beach volleyball right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The visuals are going to be incredible.

Not sure who tweeted it, but he was ranked in the 30s two years ago and 20s last year in the US in the 100 meters. That is quite a rapid rise when he needed it the most. Need to get on that training plan.

Gonna be so great to just enjoy the Olympics without dealing with an unreasonable time delay or it being in a some dystopian dictatorship.

i love watching team USA and Australia go at it in swimming because it is the world's two best swim teams battling it out for the most medals earned

Read an article that Paris is getting criticism for putting most of the events right in the city. Expecting major gridlock. The visuals should be pretty neat.

Yared Nuguse tied the US Time Trials record in the 1500m during the semifinals on Saturday. The final is on Monday, hopefully he's Paris bound.

I know sometimes for logistics a sport has to be played a little bit away from the city… but this is just nuts. I’d feel so disappointed as one of the softball players.

The couldn’t find useful fields in and/or around LA? San Diego? Freaking San Fran? Sad.

She did not look good a couple of weeks ago.
The triple threat of the US women, Sha'carri leading the way, are going to be hard to beat!
