I'd be fine with requiring them. In fact, when I switched polling places I had to show it.

That said, I do think IDs should be free of charge if they are to be required. Right or wrong, people will sue and win saying it's a form of poll tax if they have to be paid for.

Might depend on the state. Here in PA it’s $40 or so.

Granted is that a lot? No, but if you want voter IDs, they need to be free universally

I'd be fine with the state providing free ID's or make it like $10 to defray the cost.

No, all my campus recruiting is done virtually. Got someone from Florida recently, sorry for the brain drain. Guess it's ok for you, I pay my taxes to NY State every year without any representation.
