Finally some news today...... Page was interview today about his official visit with Clemson this weekend. He said everything went well and would rate it an 8 out of 10. The person doing the interview later asked which of his 4 officals stood out the most and he said Norte Dame because they were impressive and everything was first class.

Me likey a lot.

Good news thanks. I think it is important that he is apparently done with officials(am I right?) and still not committed. I think ND is a darkhorse here.

For a kid we had almost no hope of getting, the fact that we're still in the hunt and he still thinks very highly of ND is a great sign. We might have an opportunity to steal one here!

This is my pessimistic optimist side saying I hope we get him, but i won't hold my breath. Putting him on the line with Cave, Clelland, Golic and Trob for 1 class... sweet!

I think we get him.

I love the fact that we do things to the best of our abilities. This is why ND is the best in CFB. No matter the record...

This would be a huge get and another oppurtunity to thank our staff for working their butts off.

Not that I think they need another reason for us to thank them for working their butts off with what they have already done.

:worship2:

Man I don't want to jinx it with 22 days left.

It looks like it's going to come down to a Clemson/ND battle for Kenny. As of right now he's saying a lot of things that would indicate he'll pick ND, but being close to home still might win out.

I knew NC didn't pan out, but couldn't find anything on it.

Thanks Gipp

Shrine Bowl OL Kenneth Page (6-3 290) of AC Flora made his official visit to Clemson over the weekend. "It went well, I had a good time," Page said. "I've been up here a few times already so I just got reacclimated. I hung out with Dalton Freeman and Antoine McClain. David Smith was my host. I just like the way the players get along and the family atmosphere. I didn't commit. I'm going to wait until I get back from North Carolina (this coming weekend)." Page also is considering Notre Dame and Tennessee and said there is no order with the schools right now.

OL Kenneth Page (6-3 290) of AC Flora says the reason he's no longer considering USC is that the Gamecocks were wary of his injured shoulder. "South Carolina felt my shoulder would have been a liability for them," Page said Sunday afternoon. "They pulled out on me and not the other way around. Coach Reaves got in touch with my coaches (Tuesday or Wednesday of last week) and made them aware of the reasons. He's yet to return any of my calls or any of my messages. I wasn't wasting their time. I had a lot of interest in South Carolina. Ultimately, I was hurt. I've become aware that college football is a multi-million dollar business and players like me are the products. My shoulder is a little tweaked but it is no big deal. I played in the Shrine Bowl and in the Orlando all star game. The other schools are well aware of my shoulder. My team doctor said my shoulder should not hamper my career. I think it's been a long term injury and I'm just getting it looked at. It's sort of dislocated. I'm having it scoped in February and then I'll have rehab." Page made an official visit to Clemson over the weekend. He will visit North Carolina this coming weekend and have a decision soon after that visit. He also is considering Notre Dame and Tennessee.

OL Kenneth Page (6-3 290) of AC Flora told CUTigers.com he is working on having his decision by Friday. Page made his official visit to North Carolina over the weekend. He will get visits from coaches from each of his final schools this week including Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden. Page also is considering Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Kenny will announce this Friday and he'll pick from Clemson, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. As of right now most expect it to be Clemson or Notre Dame, but I would not be suprised to see him end up at Tennessee either. But if I had to guess right now I'd say he stays close to home and picks Clemson.

He'll be getting an in-home visit from Coach Latina tomorrow night, so there's still hope.

Oh lord, please oh please. Is it actually greedy to want more than ND already has (committed anyways) ?

Front page of II says three coaches will be visiting him. But according to his H.S. HC the biggest person recruiting him is a FR. DB from S.C. It's premium info so I only got the headlines to the story.

yeah, that freshman recruit from south carolina is Gary Gray, who didnt get to play this year due to injury. he will be a very prominent feature in notre dames future though, being a former 5star recruit at the beginning of his senior year.

That a boy Gary! It helps to have a kid from SC especially in times like these...I heard Page is announcing soon. I think he is Clemson bound but if he isn't, we just might have pulled a big upset.
