If the 6'3 height is accurate, is it possible that they don't want to have more than 1 short Tight End on the roster since they took Larsen in the '24 class?

The staff loves Larsen and his ball skills. They liked him more than the taller tight ends that camped at ND. Flanagan and Cure are much better prospects than Schott

Flanigan reminds me a lot of Cole Kmet from a size and athleticism standpoint. Cure is a freak. I’m very excited about the ‘25 TE board

Better feel pretty good about Cure

The Cure hype seems to be fading a bit. He's blown up a lot since the mid point of his junior season. He's going to be a lot of schools' top target. ND should start to expand their board a bit. I believe the only other TE that they have offered that hasn't committed elsewhere is AJ Ia.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Denbrock shoot out a few offers now during the evaluation period. I'm still waiting for Marshall Pritchett to get his. The longer they wait, the harder it is going to be make a push for him if they decide on that. He's racking up the offers and taking a lot of visits.

He'd be that 6'5" 230 slot TE that they wanted Carter Nelson to be.

No reason not to at this point

ND close rate on TE prospects they really want with reasonable reciprocating interest has to probably be something like 75%

Think this past cycle has everyone a little paranoid

Plus with Flanigan already in the fold playing with house money at this point

I like his film on the defensive side of ball better. Can never have enough pass rushing ends with his athleticism. Make the offer please!
But all the services are ranking him as a TE so something is off. So either TE is his best position or they're all off the mark (won't be a first). We're loaded at TE especially if we land Cure. Maybe we just don't have the need for another TE and that's where he's going to play in college.

Not going to lie, our son’s school played his team in the semi state this year and he was a good player but nothing wowed me. I realize we had Nitro Tuggle who was a top 100 recruit but I was more impressed with him on defense than TE.

He led the entire state of Indiana in sacks last season.

I have no idea how the services list players who play both sides of the ball. Is it where they are projected at the next level or where they prefer to play? Anyone have any insight?

They rank 'em based on who's recruiting 'em. So if they're ranking a guy at TE that's where he's being recruited at, at least by the majority of schools involved.

Notre Dame, Michigan and Penn State taking a pass on an offer thus far. Interesting. Duke, Vanderbilt, Stanford offers.

He looks like someone who would go to Iowa and wind up being a multiple time All Pro in the NFL.

is Tom Loy a national guy now?
I've noticed he's had more tweets over the past month or so that were more related to national guys that ND isn't pursuing.

Loy will however, provide as much pub for the Fort Wayne area guys since he lives in the area. Schott's a Leo kid that is just outside of Fort Wayne.

Both the above responses ab Loy doing FW press are accurate, but he is also additionally doing a bit more non-ND related stuff since his 247 extension

Would you consider this kid is starting to blow up or is this recent interest just firecracker level?

Is it accurate that he's only been to ND during Summer 2023 and hasn't been to a game?

The Duke, Stanford and Vanderbilt offers really have me intrigued here. If Northwestern comes in, one would need wonder what is preventing ND from putting one out there. ND and Michigan still nothing yet.

I read somewhere in the past few days that ND has passed for good and look for it to be OSU or Miami.

It was probably TLoy but I don't remember for sure.
