This is a guy Mike Frank and Prister were recently raving about on podcasts. They feel he's a 5 star talent.

so anyone know how many OTs that they want to take because Owen from wiscy is a top priority for the staff and they already have one on board.

It sounds like he was a top priority & was expected to commit by now, but seems not quite ready & according to the ISD podcast has no timetable now. So ND is probably expanding the board

“It was unlike anything I’ve seen,” Eureka (Mo.) High Top247 offensive tackle Jack Lange said. Snow inside historic Notre Dame Stadium just made the Golden Dome and all the pristine buildings on campus shine brighter.

“This visit did a lot for me and my relationship with the Irish. It was very eye-opening and I’m very excited for my future with them recruiting wise. The brotherhood stuck out to me and it was very easy to see that everyone cared about each other.”

Sounding like ND will seal the deal for Lange and Strebig.

At that point, you wrap up Augustine, and you are 4/4 on your main OL prospects.

On ISD Power Hour and Hit & Hustle, both reference there possibly being a “situation” with Lange where they are unsure if he will be apart of the class. Sounds like a tackles number thing, and could be between Lange and Augustine for the last spot.

Lange is the much more likely to play and start at LT, so I gotta go with Lange if we get to chose.

They have been saying for the last few weeks that it’s probably only a 3 lineman class.

It's a numbers situation. Can't take everyone they want, but I would hope for it to be like last years' class. The goal was three, unless they could get the guy they had at the top of their board. And they did.

I'm not sure what the staff has planned in terms of numbers for each position group this recruiting class, but if bypassing a fourth OL means another pure DT (not a projectable guy like Reiff, or another pure nose like Dixon), a seventh DB (assuming Blair, Zackery & Golden come aboard - the seventh being Devin Williams), or a fourth wide receiver, I'm all for it.
