Nothing they said is wrong lmao. Unsurprisingly “conservatives” don’t actually know history. Next you thing you know they’ll be saying scalping was only being done by those nasty savages.

Whiteness was a concept made up for slavery. Its definition has changed over the years to include different groups of people. I can already picture the “conservative” infighting in the future “Ted Cruz - is he really white? Can we trust him? He might be watering down Traditional Values”

Fucking hell those accounts will get you guys believing any insane shit “to own the libs”. Don’t you remember old school racism where non-Anglo-Saxons were swarthy how come you’re not upset they’re considered part of the great white race lmao

You are saying it isn’t wrong, but won’t defend the craziness. Why are we prioritizing which races are capitalized? Why is whiteness devastating to students?

Also- recall the soft bigotry of low expectations.

DA Fani Willis breaks her silence on the scandalous affair and improper use of taxpayer funds:

I don’t know why races get capitalized. Study history and you’ll understand where “whiteness” came from.

There is no such thing as a white race. Let’s be clear, if there was, it wouldn’t be comprised of genetic rejects that think End Wokeness is anything but some snowflake culture war account.

I guess the reason is those "un-woken" are working to better the world today knowing that no one can go back in time and fix it before it started.

Please.

If one of those people said “ok, I’ll teach history,” and grabbed literally any book within reach at the library, it would turn into “NOOOO, NOT THOSE!!!”

The lecture would then pivot to a recommendation for some collection of highly obscure books nobody has ever heard about, citing how it is the TRUE manual for our past.

Who's changing the history curriculums to reduce the scope of what's being taught? Adding context doesn't change the history of what happened.

Being adverse to more information is something I don't understand.

I agree with you. More information is critical.

I was just pointing out that this idea usually starts with:

1. “Don’t you want to know more information?”

(A few moments later)

2. “Now, forget everything you have read and know. I am right because I’m holding this book, not the one you have. Accept my truth instead of yours.”

This is no less problematic than someone holding up a Bible and saying this book is more relevant than the Torah.

*I know you are a good dude, and certainly understand history well.

I just get perplexed how we went from melding new information in with old information to the culture war you alluded to earlier. People from
every side are gatekeeping history to the point the only “true” version is the most sensational.

For sure, and that's an incredibly pervasive issue with most progressive messaging is that it comes from some blue hair who screeches. Obviously that'll come off terribly.

It strikes a cord when I see the backwards approach of removing history from the curriculum because of all the world history courses I've taken the one taught with the most "warts and all" was the US. Canada/UK is the most bullshit "We disappeared the natives and they just handed us their stuff woooo go us!".

I think many get in their feelings when they hear something like "the white race isn't real" without actually understanding how it came to be, and that many of us today wouldn't fall under the OG white definition. Saying "whiteness" has it's roots in racism isn't some radical idea it's just the historical fact. I don't know what the correct "tone" should be when discussing it but I think for broad acceptance it needs a refresh on the approach to teaching it.

Go find where I ever said we shouldn't teach history or just a secular part to make us feel good? The woke want to tear down and destroy all statues that represent the south during the civil war. I think we need to keep them to remind everyone what went on and the primary reason the Civil War was fought.

You fixation with "blue hairs" is novel to say the least. As I've mentioned more than once, we boomers fought for civil rights, the environment and were instrumental in getting out of the war in Viet Nam. But, like every generation before, there will be one that's going to blame yours for everything.

Go find where I @'d you lol. Look at any spike in when the monuments were dedicated, you'll find they happened at some interesting times.

Does any other country keep up statues of the losers of a war they fought against? Seriously, why have a Robert E Lee statue up. Why have a school dedicated to him?

I use the term blue hairs in discussing radical leftists that have their hair dyed, I'll switch to purple hairs when referencing them to make it more clear going forward.

Who's failing to learn from history? Those that don't want certain things taught or those that want more to be taught?

Both Utah and UC Irvine women's teams were on the receiving end of this trash.

Coeur d'Alene has become a hotbed for white nationalists in the last few years. Several have migrated to the area.

Gross.

Any specifics as to what occurred?

Utah deputy athletics director Charmelle Greene shared more specifics about what the team endured with KSL.com on Monday night. Greene said that while the basketball team was walking from its hotel to a restaurant to have dinner, the driver of a white truck pulled up, revved his engine and yelled the N-word in the direction of the team before speeding off.

“We all just were in shock, and we looked at each other like, did we just hear that?” Green told KSL.com

The team had dinner, only to face a similar situation as it left the restaurant. This time, Greene told KSL.com, the occupants of two trucks were revving their engine in an intimidating way, while again yelling the N-word in the direction of the team.

UC Irvine also moved hotels.

And some way, some how, she'll probably get reelected.
Because the GOP will say hold my beer and run a Nazi sympathizer that wants to privatize Social Security, actively pushes back on the notion that poor people deserve healthcare, promotes billionaires paying little to no taxes and demands women have children against their will. Some way, somehow that candidate will lose and they throw a tantrum claiming the election was rigged.

Because his opponent is surrounded by anti-Semitic Hamas supporters who want to give endless handouts to donors at the expense of pricing everyone out of groceries, while navigating through foreign policy like he is at the helm of the Titanic, abuses his DOJ to target political opponents, makes our cities even somehow less safe, and has successfully flooded our open border with the most incompetent management possible. Somehow, when he loses, his side will spend 4 years spreading verifiable lies to pretend the election was rigged, again.

Larry Elder LMAO
Ah, the king of strawman arguing is branching out into ad hominem attacks.

Ad Hominem

(Attacking the person): This fallacy occurs when, instead of addressing someone's argument or position, you irrelevantly attack the person or some aspect of the person who is making the argument. The fallacious attack can also be direct to membership in a group or institution.

Elder is 100% correct about Biden's track record of racism and lying. You know it. I know it. We all know it. Nice try though.

LMAO = Laugh my ass off. I am laughing at Larry Elder being cited in 2024. He is not a serious person who anyone with a pulse should take seriously. Biden has an atrocious history with the Black community, but you guys are so horned up that you couldn't be bothered to even think before lapping up LARRY ELDER hahah.
