I was wondering how these players are still entering the TP - I had no clue about the Bowl Game rule exemption from the 1/2 deadline - After the NCAA shortened the winter transfer window from 45 days to 30 days, it added an exemption for players who compete in their bowl games, who are given an additional five-day transfer window after playing in the games.

That seems fair, frankly. Kind of a big disadvantage for guys in the CFP or even New Years Day bowl games, and would encourage opt-outs. We are now five days clear though right?

Not from the NY's Day games - I would think that gives them until 1/6. (NY's Eve Day games, until 1/5).

If you’re a RB with proven production and a year left in college you owe it to yourself to get paid either where you currently are or in the portal. You have the highest injury risk of any position and shortest shelf-life in the NFL… and they also suppress your value in second contracts in the league.
