Mitchell and Sheppard were both on my fantasy team this past season.

If Sheppard is on a top 5 SEC team, he is a top WR in the country.

I would be happy with both Mitchell and Sheppard.

ND Basketball brought in a kid who was at Northwestern for 2 years and didn't have his degree. Brandon Joseph didn't have his degree when he came over from Northwestern, and Riley Leonard isn't a grad transfer and he's coming from Duke. Seems like they're able to get kids in who are coming from elite academic institutions. They can do that with kids from Northwestern and Duke, my guess is they can do the same for kids from Vanderbilt and Stanford.

He's definitely an NFL player but he's not a 1st or 2nd round pick. My guess is he wants to boost his draft stock and get some NIL money. FWIW, Mike Brown follows Sheppard on Twitter. No clue if that's a recent thing, but it would make sense since Brown never recruited him out of HS.
