I think this is the point to consider for the sport moving forward. A HC & staff busts their collective tails to recruit the RKG to their program. All this why gameplanning for the upcoming season and then playing the games w/ the roster they currently have on campus. Surviving the ups & downs of that to hopefully be in a position to win a championship or make the CFP. But now they have to strategize on who may or may not leave for the draft or transfer out or retire. The transfer out part is the biggest challenge b/c any and every player is eligible to do so. And we all know there is & will be back channeling throughout the regular season to lure kids to other teams.
Or get to the NFL as soon as possible and work their way up to a coordinator or HC job so they can focus on what they’re being paid to do…Coach & win football games.

That remains to be seen and I hope you are correct. I hope MF and team have a portal strategy bec. with an Admin/Admission handicap they gonna need a solid one. And rn, all they have is a 0.333 OC doing the WR 'cruitin' and portal hunting which is not good.

He isn't specifying, but he's pushed back several times on posters who are claiming MF misread the room by firing Stuckey. Said those three were leaving regardless of who was coaching receivers next year.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. And it makes sense; Stuckey was in on Flores heavily while he was at Baylor, and the relationship continued when he moved to ND.

all this player movement has sort of dampened my enthusiasm for my little hobby of college football. I feel like I have always been able to name every single player on Notre Dame’s roster and where they came from and how highly recruited they were coming out of high school but now I feel like that’s just a waste of time, if it wasn’t already.
