All of his stuff makes me think of him as a SS... But I was under the impression that we were bringing him in as a CB. I don't have any of the pay services so I haven't seen much film on him (although he is supposed to be one of the top S in coverage right?) but it seems his best ability is his hit/power. It seems we are really deep at safety... I dunno. Harrison is a FS, right?

piyachi, I think you are correct in saying he looks more like a SS; but if you look at who CW and CB are going after in the defensive backfield, it seems that the coaches are looking for bigger, more physical corners.

YES and NO. I think they wanted some big and strong corners to go with there cover corner types that they've got in the last 2 previous classes, my point being that I don't think that they are only looking at those types of corners it's just what they needed to get in '08.

Jamoris hurt his right knee in today's practice, they said they didn't expect him to play anymore today and I'm unsure how serious it might be based on what Jamoris told the trainers.

I was flipping back between the bowl games and the practices and I can't remember if it was Slaughter or Walker who sprained their ACL. I know it was one of the two because I was pretty upset that we would not be able to see them play on Saturday.

They're both hurt. Walker mildly sprained his knee and he's listed as Day to Day and they're hoping he can come back Thurs.

Slaughter has a possible tear in his knee so unless something changes he will most likely be missing the game this weekend.

He is wearing a ND hat on the sideline though.

I just saw a highlight video of Jamoris for the first time today. Man he looks like he loves to hit. He looks like he will be really exciting to watch.

Jamor suffered a torn meniscus. With a consistant rehab he should be back in about 6 weeks.

It sucks, I've suffered that injury myself several times, but at least it wasn't a major ligament.

Over on DD and B&G there is a picture from the espn game with Hunter and Jamoris both in it and let's just say it is a good one.

Honestly, idk if I want him around the players. Awesome experience for the kids but I just don't want Snoop giving anything to them causing a NCAA investigation.

We can bet on a hard-hitting safety in the 2032 class. haha

Congrats to Slaughter on becoming a daddy. Might even be a little extra motivation for himself in his final year.
