Exactly, OFFENSIVE...But we gotta start getting these top notch Defensive guys who commit to actually sign on the dotted line for us. Tired of recruits leaving on the Def side to end up at Oregon, 'Bama, FSU etc.An awesome offensive* class

I hate to state the obvious… if Carter flips that likely gives Parker some job stability…
It'll be very interesting to see if Parker and Freeman have the humility and guts, respectively, to have Parker demoted to TE coach. That's best case scenario for 2024Parker has shown to be a pretty good TE coach and recruiter. He shouldn’t be the OC, but doesn’t mean he should lose his job all together.

Comp. I think he’s Brock Bowers. Much more receiver than in line blocker

"The atmosphere for the game was the most electric game I have ever attended," Nelson's father Jake said. "As a long-time fan of everything football, that was an experience I will never forget. The ND/USC game is something every football fan should experience at least once."
Nelson gave Nebraska a verbal in June. The Irish will keep trying to change his mind.
"Carter remains committed to Nebraska and Notre Dame is one of several teams that are still actively recruiting him," the elder Nelson said.
Hope to be wrong or maybe some misdirection going on but that read to me like in pops mind they just came to see a big game.![]()

Do they hit a Georgia game next?Hope to be wrong or maybe some misdirection going on but that read to me like in pops mind they just came to see a big game.
True but two things have to happen for this to work out. MF actually has to have the balls to make personnel changes and War Daddy needs to realize he is not ready to be OC and take the demotion. Tight line to walk for both to work. But I understand what you are saying.Parker has shown to be a pretty good TE coach and recruiter. I value a TE coach very little. If he stays, great. If he walks, he's not getting hired as an OC at any serious program so good luck in that case. Finding a TE coach isn't hard.
But list your position coaches out that have to be the right hires... I'd go OC, DC, OL, LBs, DBs, WRs, RBs, TEs. Hard to have a bad RB or TE coach, although it can be done. How quickly you’ve forgotten the Scott Booker days
Whether he stays or goes is far more dependent on if he can score another QB in the portal and likely has nothing to do with a 17 year-old TE. Unfortunately, the current offense is not going to attract a difference maker at QB. IMO, Parker needs to show enough over the next 4 games to entice a high-level transfer, then MF can reasonably consider keeping him around. But, if they keep flaming-out and the QB room is lead by Angeli in the spring, then there is really no reason not to OC shop.I value a TE coach very little. If he stays, great.
