Hartman had a couple of horrible plays: bouncing around on a 4th and 1 when he should have just planted and pushed forward and he short armed the screen where he could have floated it to the RB and had a TD
I like Hartman but he seemed a bit overwhelmed at times in his first huge game of his career
The coordinators seemed to shit the bed in the 4th quarter; that's not a great sign but can be corrected
10 men on the final two plays? Someone needs to be fired, that is asinine especially coming out of a TO
I didn't watch the presser, but Freeman needs to own the loss
Running the ball more on the last possession wins us the game
Our team is really good but seems to lack that second gear to become great when it matters
Loved Evans making huge catches; that one-hander was epic
RBs ran well all night, but Estime tip-toeing around at times was frustrating
Rico Flores is going to have a bright future with this team
Our safety play is not great but I am a DJ Brown fan; he has developed into a solid player in the secondary for us
Our pass rush was lacking, and some of the called blitzes were horrible but that is what you have to do when your DL cannot win one on one
I am very frustrated with this loss as we should have won by a TD, but we have a good season ahead of us. I am not scared of anyone on our schedule but we need to avoid a letdown loss next week.
More consistent WR, Safety, LB, and DL recruiting and we are a perennial contender. Just need to avoid those years where we have huge positional gaps that existed the last few years with Kelly. If Freeman gets more consistent recruiting all positions, we are a very formidable team.
