Possibly my favorite player in this class, sans CJ. Dude is an unreal combo of size and talent.

Hot take

Young/Williams upgraded combo version of Estime/Diggs. Best part, neither will be flaking out.

His junior tape, good lord.

The biggest difference I've noticed since the staffing change is the quality of player we are getting at the skill positions on offense. Lance Taylor would land an occasional gem, but DMC is about to go Love-Williams-Young. Add that to what Stuckey is doing with the receiver room, and that is where Notre Dame can close the gap.

Man anytime you can get a skilled player recruit from Texas you take it. How can you not be happy.

Agree although we need both lines to keep up with skill recruiting.

Biggest difference I've noticed is the amount of guys we are getting in Texas. I'd rather take a 4 star in Texas over any 5 Star in Cali

I'm not worried about either side of the line. Young and Thomas are fantastic. I think I read somewhere that Mullins probably gets a rankings bump; although, the USC, Miami, and Stanford offers is all I need to see.

A OL class of Lambert, Prescod, Jones, and Knapp would be a very solid haul.

And keep recruiting the Atlanta burbs. That has proven to be very productive recruiting territory for us and it has shown on Saturdays.

ISD saying there's confidence from staff they go 4 for 4. Unless ISD is playing with words (Tae Johnson arriving today; a 25 kid not on our minds), it has to mean Gilbert, Young, Menke, Prescod.

Enough talent to sober even IrishDrunk.

Lambert, Young, Menke, Prescod - and Tae?

That's a royal flush

Tae is a ‘24 kid who arrived yesterday and leaves tomorrow.
Lambert, not Gilbert.
Young, Prescod & Mencke are already silents.
Lambert loved the visit but isn’t deciding yet.
Tae is doing the admissions stuff today & if it all works out he will be a silent too.

My mistake on Gilbert/Lambert.

So you guys interpret 4 for 4 to mean Tae, Young, Menke, Prescod. Not the kids who visited same time (Young, Prescod, Menke, Lambert). That's not how I interpreted it but you may be correct.

They could mean Lambert as the 4th.
ND took the lead back over the weekend, so ISD was probably talking about him.
Tae technically wasn’t part of that group, he is on a separate OV.

Before leaving Taylor went Tyree, Estime, and Price. If we’re using recruiting rankings to be the judge, it’s about the same as DMC’s 3 you mention above.

Tyree 96.8, Estime 91.46, and Price 92.07

Love 96.3, Williams 91.6, and Young 92.2

As far as verified track times goes, I've seen 11.18 100M as his PR. However, I did see a twitter post that mentioned he's ran a 10.9. A 10.9 100M at that size would be exceptional.

BobbyMac posted on the first page that Young claims a 23 mph top speed. If that’s accurate I don’t think speed is an issue. No idea about a 40 time.
So, like 23.3 or around there was top NFL player speed and that was tyreek. So no, 23 mph isn't accurate but no clue what it would be. He's definitely not looking that fast on film.

I could see the 11.18M 100, 10.9 100 would be faster than I expected and very very good at his size. 11.18 isn't too shabby. Maybe he's faster than quick :).

I just have to believe he'd be much higher rated and more sought after if he had better quicks/speed that at least what I think I see on film.

I still like him a lot, i'm just saying I don't expect him to be our 1st/2nd round RB.
