Here’s the question…

According to multiple sites, ND will take Brix or Prescod, ever who commits first, and then Lambert as the 4th.

So what if Prescod wants to commit today, then Brix wants to at his OV, but Lambert says he is not ready yet?

Do you tell Prescod to wait until after the June OV’s?
Do you tell Brix to wait until Lambert?
Do you take Prescod & Brix because you don’t want to risk waiting on Lambert?

It sounds like Knapp is also a no matter what guy. Which is the coach sticking to a promise. So the thing to do is be flexible about the number and take 5. Like others have said the portal fixes overstocking issues.

They were only supposed to take 3 in this class.
Each coach is told a number by Chad Bowden & Freeman, of how many they get in the class, and it can be stretched by one if it’s agreed upon that it’s a “take no matter what” kid.
They have to do this to stay within reasonable roster limits.
So the OL class was supposed to be 3, with a 4th optional.
I don’t know if a 5th is even an option. You are already taking a spot from another position. And the WR room already is also taking an extra spot to take 4. And they want a 2nd RB. And there are two TEs they love as the 2nd. If they take a 5th OL they are definitely not taking one of the above, & taking 4 OL & 4 WR means they probably already aren’t taking one of the above.
On defense, Safety & DL are taking all the extra spots. That’s why Beasley is probably the only CB they would take as the “no matter what.”

It’s being reported by multiple sites that Brix is OVing June 2nd through 4th, but he has yet to set an OV to ND according to Ryan Roberts.
Says it’s in the works, but nothing has been set up yet.
