It’s not worth much. I’m not sure what your point is, other than you are cool with losers being named the winners. 🤷‍♂️
I think it’s very worthy. You don’t like the politics or policies in one state it’s so easy to leave. Each region represents something different. Makes the US a great place to travel and live. Making it all the same making federal law and federal politics all one in the same would suck. You are a democratic talking point regurgitating sheep if you truly believe what you are saying.

I would. Further I’d get rid of the electoral college and make it one citizen one vote and get rid of all this BS horse trading. But then again, I’m an advocate for democracy.
Considering how close Trump was with replacing the electors in Ga the electoral college is definitely a weak point in our democracy.

The electoral college is used in presidential elections. Moving from one state to another won’t change a national election, which is what we are talking about. You are a self distracted, confused, nincompoop if you think this has anything to do with the topic at hand.

There are many federalized issues and laws that should be and were once state issues and laws. It’s a slippery slope that needs to stop. Like Roe v Wade. Should have never been federalized.

My point is each territory is different and each should be represented in a national election. This is the best way.

Just because it’s easy for you to move doesn’t mean that anyone can just up and move. Many, many people have jobs and familial responsibilities that make moving to a different state practically impossible. Believe me; I would much rather live somewhere other than In-duh-ana.

Daily Wire
House Democrats have taken censorship to new and dangerous levels, threatening journalist Matt Taibbi with up to five years of prison time for a typo.

The threat was spearheaded by House Democrat Stacey Plaskett, V.I., over Taibbi’s testimony to Congress in March about “Twitter Files” published on the social media platform and an interview the reporter did on MSNBC — sparking more threats for the renegade writer, according to the Daily Wire.

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan has been on a bizarre and increasingly dangerous mission to discredit Matt Taibbi, an independent journalist and contributor to “The Twitter Files.” Mehdi claimed Taibbi lied under oath to Congress – a felony that can be prosecuted with prison.

The reporter mistakenly referred to CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) when the intended reference had been CIS (Center for Internet Security). Taibbi recognized his mistake and amended the statement to make it clear that the organization in question was the Center for Internet Security. In response, Taibbi conceded the inconsistency, saying that he had inadvertently used the wrong abbreviation.

Plaskett jumped on board with Hasan, going after the reporter.
“While these inaccuracies may seem minor to you, they could lead Congress to rely on inaccurate testimony in considering and/or passing new legislation which would impact all Americans,” Plaskett said in her letter to Taibbi.
Plaskett wrote, “you swore ‘under penalty of perjury that the testimony you [were] about to give [was] true and correct to the best of your knowledge, information, and belief.’ Under the federal perjury statue, 18 U.S.C. 1621, proving false information is punishable by up to five years imprisonment.”

Taibbi responded on Substack that “Plaskett is threatening me with prison, over her own error. Just after I ran a piece called “The Press is Now Also the Police” about the New York Times and Washington Post boasting of roles in delivering a leak suspect to the FBI, MSNBC’s new attack-caster, Mehdi Hasan, got his wish, inspiring first Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and then Plaskett to trumpet his incredibly vicious and mistaken claim that I lied to Congress.”

Republicans are all in on making voting harder via legislation.

These bills are coming in every state soon if not already.

They already got busted plotting to attack college campuses and young voter methods.

It’s the only way they can win. They have maximizes the gerrymandered districts so they can’t do much more than what they have done already. Now they are going after hurting Dem heavy vote methods.

In my limited time with the DOD I have been learning about these sort of things. This is basically my job now investigating these sort of things.
I'm interested in the details around this. People having a smart device on them in a secure area happens. It's not allowed, but it happens and depending on the circumstances, the offender is disciplined or punished accordingly. For this guy to get escorted out and have his office "sealed" for investigation, there must be credible evidence that he did this with intent.

Actually, the intent is to add accountability by ensuring voters can only vote in one location to prevent multiple votes. But, I know you like your spin.

They already got busted plotting to attack college campuses and young voter methods.

Are you talking about Cleta Mitchell, or do you have a new source?

You never answered my questions:
  • What, specifically, did Cleta Mitchell says that qualifies as voter suppression?
  • Are you claiming that establishing an Election Integrity Task Force to ensure that voter locations are legal is voter suppression? If so, why?
  • Are you claiming that requiring a SSN and Birth Date on absentee ballots is voter suppression? If so, why?
  • Are you claiming that Mitchell suggesting that the R party figure out how to "do that and combat that" WRT on-campus engagement is voter suppression? If so, why?
  • Do you claim that eliminating 45 days of early voting in Virginia is voter suppression? If so, why?
  • Would you feel the exact same way if Rs had the advantage here and Ds were suggesting the same countermeasures?

It’s the only way they can win. They have maximizes the gerrymandered districts so they can’t do much more than what they have done already. Now they are going after hurting Dem heavy vote methods.

You criticize Mike Lindell for spreading political lies, and continue posting this clearly biased garbage. How ironic. You share more in common with him than you realize. You just like to wear blue.

Depends on the level/area and office. Sometimes the smart devices are not allowed and sometimes you can have it but once its plugged into company tech it’s a violation. Like I cannot even charge my phone through my DOD laptop. Keystrokes are recorded as well… so any violation can be traced and intent is figured out pretty quick.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

I know all this. USB connections haven't been allowed without expressed permission since like 2008. It was, imo, a pain in the ass for a couple years until our available tech caught up.

For sure. Yeah it happens and typically I have only seen or heard of write ups or even loss of clearance for 3 months maybe and given some other task like filing HR paperwork or something. It’s pretty obvious something happened.

Crazy that there is actually some amount of accountability for these people who spread the election lies. I didn’t think it was going to happen, but I guess they made the mistake of impugning a specific company which resulted in damages.

Anyone know what he did wrong? It goes without saying that I don’t watch cable news/CNN.

Have no clue. With Carlson and Lemon maybe it's the beginning of fair and balanced reporting coming back in vogue.

BTW....Can we move this to the Media Matters thread?

I don’t know specifics for Lemon but CNN has been making a right turn for about year or so. Since Faux News is basically a lying propaganda channel now and everyone knows it…. reasonable conservatives need a home. 😂
The idea that CNN is making a right turn and the idea that conservatives are looking to be lied to by CNN is telling of your highly skewed sense of reality.
