Funny....my first hawks game was the same pairing at the winter classic. Absolutely amazing experience being in the stadium for a hockey game

Was there, double OT loss for the Stars. Crazy atmosphere, and some interesting calls/non-calls. Stars lost Pavelski for game and probably others in nasty head hit. Game ended after 1 a.m., almost missed the train home.

They lost 12 games all year so beating them in a best of 7 feels like an incredibly tall order. History doesn't bode well for them, though:

Playoffs are different and Boston’s system, that I saw, was actually surprisingly narrow…. Lots of odd rushes, and one timers from pasta etc… I never struck me as a system that should have gotten those results. We will see.

I know Monty from my time in the USHL, same as Cooper, they are two of the best coaches on the Planet. Monty knows what he is doing
