At the end of the day that’s kind of the point with going to college, right?…but we least we have high GPAs!

Of course! As long as that’s what you prioritize as a football program, then there aren’t any issues. At the end of the day that’s kind of the point with going to college, right?
LOL who cares about the average score when 8 other programs were better than us?? Its relative not to ND but to our competition!

No.should we be watching anyone else? is nd a major player for any blue chippers?
We're top 5 in average player ranking. FWIW.LOL who cares about the average score when 8 other programs were better than us?? Its relative not to ND but to our competition!
That's more like it. Embracing it!
If we can’t get top 50 players navies of NIL there might need to be some movement when it comes to portal policy. I know people are tired of hearing this but I don’t know how you can be super successful without either.
A sixth year graduate transfer senior and a third year junior transfer are two different things, and one is *almost* impossible to do at Notre Dame today.*Signs Top 50 prospect and transfer portal receiver today*
This only going to get worse. Wouldn’t doubt it’s a top 50 then top 100*Signs Top 50 prospect and transfer portal receiver today*

That’s the gap ND needs to erase because nearly every other school in major college football is using it to transform their teams.
And I bet they replace them faster too.Almost every other school also loses talent at a higher rate than ND.
And I bet they replace them faster too.
I genuinely don’t understand how someone could not see ND’s stance on the portal as an issue. They just straight up can’t take nearly every undergrad in the portal because the university won’t admit them.
What happens if they don’t hire MF and lose a ton of last year’s class, and major numbers from the current roster? They can’t hit the portal hard, so like … what do they do?
That’s not an answer though. But I get it, because the university doesn’t have an answer either. What happens when everything goes wrong and we rewrite history?
Almost every other school also loses talent at a higher rate than ND.
It’s all inflow and outflow.
Now your response is gonna be we are gonna start losing more. And I’ll say well we haven’t yet and haven’t been and you’ll say we will and that’ll be the end of it.
That’s not an answer though.
How do you arrive at that figure.Because 65 to 70% of the athletes are athlete students not student athletes.
Huh?Because 65 to 70% of the athletes are athlete students not student athletes.
I’m totally fine with you not agreeing with me. Of course you’re allowed to see things differently than I do. I’ve never insulted someone personally for seeing things differently than I do, unlike some others of this board who can’t handle disagreement. What happens when everything goes wrong and we rewrite history? Lol.
Listen we rarely see things the same. I just posted a factual statement and two responses later you’re rewriting doomsday. Just agree to disagree.
LSU had 39 scholarship players for its bowl game after they fired Coach O
Hence, why he left.you can’t compare recruiting at LSU and ND. Kelly would have had a class in the high teens this year without freeman at DC.
I don’t know.you can’t compare recruiting at LSU and ND. Kelly would have had a class in the high teens this year without freeman at DC.
You can see what Freeman has done, compared to Kelly. And if you count 2022 class as Kelly's class you are simply wrong.
