ND absolutely could have gotten both Caleb Williams and Addison in. Who cares about the others?

They didn’t want to come here. There is a difference.
Exactly. No excuse for the ND OL to be getting stalemated by that SC D. Rees & Hiestand knew that Grinch likes to slant…fucking deal with it.

He and Bertrand are block magnets. They literally run into blocks and never reappear until the whistle. Maddening.

They have both been blowing up their OL. You win some you lose some. Marist literally blitzed and came back to knock the ball out of the receivers hands 15 yards down field.

Marist is not a good linebacker. Period. Great athlete, just not a good footballer. Is what it is.

He’s the type of guy you bring in to rush on an obvious pass down. You don’t have him start at LB and ask him to dissect plays or run with WRs and RBs.

Do we know if Williams had the core classes covered for an undergrad transfer?

Great. So this is our excuse for getting outcoached & out played by an inferior roster that is allegedly “soft”
Nobody will use it as excuses but it absolutely matters. As does the obvious holds that they are refusing to call.

Our offense is imbalanced today because the run game isn’t working. Not the pass game.
The reason our run game is suffering is because SC has ZERO respect for our putrid passing game. That's the real problem.

Agreed. He seemingly can ONLY play with his hair on fire.

I think that is the worst that half could’ve gone and we are only down 10. I’m not saying that ND will win this game, but it definitely isn’t over yet.

ND has to answer & the OL needs to nut up. If not, Rees will panic like BK used to & go Pass Tourettes w/ Pyne. When you abandon your identity, you get what you deserve.

Pass Tourette's gave me a good chuckle. Thanks, I need that!

I’m just worried about the half time adjustments. This year it seems the other teams adjust and ND does not.

Bro what is your deal?
He’s a glass half empty guy…which is his prerogative. He heard all week how “soft” ND fans were calling SC’s defense. SC’s defense has heard as much. Alex Grinch has heard as much. Grinch wisely is daring Pyne to beat him by selling out on the run. I think Rees will take the bait and come out chunking the ball in the 2H. If it fails…yikes. If it works, ND may win. Rees will tell us a lot if he abandons the run in the 2H.
