Can you blame them? The game was over by half yet ND totally imploded and allowed one of the worst defenses in the nation completely shut down both the run & pass of ND. We knew their rush D was solid (not as good as Clemson’s & ND rolled them) but they have the worst pass D in the nation yet adjusted at half & embarrassed ND.

They were sending more guys than ND had in to block. It’s on the QB and OC to have checkdowns in place for that and be able to execute them. Many QBs love getting blitzed because it opens up hot reads. “Throw into the pressure”.

Pyne absolutely sucks at it. Like he gets an F for it.

That's what I was wondering because there should have been some guys open then, but Pyne kept holding onto the ball.
