I think this is the case. They probably can't get much better, and Spain has been hit hard by budget constraints post-COVID. Back in the EPL and that sweet sweet tv money is hard to turn down.

Yes, it's an ugly part of the sport. I was really discouraged to see the videos coming out of the away end of City's supporters when they were at Anfield a few weeks ago. It has been the majority of Liverpool's English opponents this year, not to single out City. Just seems like kind of a shitty hill to die on. Maybe go back to the songs about that guy slipping ten years ago?
"Fantastic" was probably not the right word to use, but is a very powerful documentary that one cannot walk away from without feeling just terrible for what those people went through on that day, and what their families dealt with in the aftermath and are still to this day dealing with.
