[Witty Introduction]
[Serious Comment on Some of the Games]
[Poorly-Conceived Transition]
THURSDAY, OCT. 27
- Virginia Tech needs to rekindle some of their oldschool Thursday night magic if they want a win here, while NC State could use a solid victory to get back on track
- Ragin' Cajuns haven't been on our watch list yet.. tune in to a random Thursday night affair to check them out
- A quality Thursday night night-cap! The Utes visit the Cougars after a half-bye... is that enough to avoid a USC hangover?
FRIDAY, OCT. 28
- The Pirates visit a reeling BYU squad. Did ND break BYU, or are they just a lot worse than everyone thought? We'll see!
- Football is only around for so many weeks in a year... tune in just to enjoy a game during ECU/BYU commercial breaks
SATURDAY, OCT. 29 - EARLY
- GO IRISH. BEAT ORANGE. The defense needs to replicate the effort they put forth against Stanford, except be better on 3rd down. The offense needs to diversify. Locking in on Mayer with the talent 'Cuse has in the secondary won't get it done. Need to replicate the UNC and BYU efforts.
- BIG NUDE SATURDAY. Ohio State will likely blow out the Nittany Lions. The B1G is trash. We're just waiting for OSU/scUM at this point. (Things CAN get weird in Happy Valley, of course.)
- Another potential letdown spot for TCU? Or will they just keep rolling? Be aware of #BodyClock on this one... even though it's just an hour early for the Horned Frogs.
- You can watch Ark/Aub, OU/ISU, or even GT/FSU... I choose to tune in and see just how bad the BC o-line is, as they *should* dominate UConn.
SATURDAY, OCT. 29 - AFTERNOON
- The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. The Gators are capable if Richardson is on. But the Dawgs will be ready, so it's going to take more than the usual upset formula.
- Another entertaining Big XII matchup is in store, and it once again features teams that will remain in the conference... eat your heart our, Red River Rivalry.
- Go Bearcats. A FUTURE Big XII matchup. Cincy has won 19 (!) straight conference games, but they've been playing with fire this year. UCF can pull the upset if Ben Bryant doesn't improve his hot-and-cold style of play.
- You can watch Oregon/Cal, WF/LOU, Illini/Neb... but I choose to watch the worst offensive matchup of the entire season. The total is 37.5. Hammer the under.
SATURDAY, OCT. 29 - LATE
- I'm really excited for this one. UK is capable of spoiling Tennessee's run, but their OL needs to take a big step forward to do so. UK needs to control with the ground game and give Levis easy throws. If not, Tennessee rolls.
- I am a broken man, and choose to watch the continuation of Marshall's post-ND implosion. It helps that Coastal has a fun offense.
- This would be a such a hilarious time for Sparty to look competent, and once again troll scUM in the most extreme fashion by winning an ugly game.
- Lane and Ole Miss will try to bounce back after getting whooped by BK and LSU. I hope they obliterate the Aggies.
- You can watch CSU/Boise (smurf turf!) or Baylor/TTU... but I choose to watch future ND OC Phil Longo dialing up big plays for future ND QB Drake Maye.
SATURDAY, OCT. 29 - NIGHT CAP
- UCLA is licking their wounds after getting handled by Oregon. Stanford is flying high(ish) after two close wins. UCLA could hit a slump, or get back on track... we'll see.
- Check out Fresno State for this week's relax/fall-asleep-on-the-couch game.
- Football on TV for the true night owls that are still awake.
- Hawaii test for the truly courageous (aka whoever can find an illegal stream).
