I think most people did, too. They have a lot of P5 transfers on that team and two corners that most thought can play man coverage all day long.

Red Flag the following game when they lost at Bowling Green. That ended up not being a trap game after beating ND. BGSU is not good.

The more we ponder the Marshall game, and the more it hurts, likely means the rest of the season is going extremely well. The trajectory of this team one month after that disaster is astonishing.

This is all that really matters right now.

They should not have lost that game in 99% of whatever context you want to put that game in be it past, present or future. It's done. The important thing is that the newly minted head coach learned some lessons from it.

OSU won the NC after an embarrassing home loss to VT. A Hokies team that I believe finished w/ a losing record.
