It was a scam, and an obvious one - I actually think that’s why he stopped. He got called out on it. He would claim there was a “silent commit”, give no other intel, then come clean after the commit was public. It was never real intel to begin with, lol.

And unlike a Crystal Ball there is no specific attachment to the Dancing Meme to a specific potential commit. So when he gets the commit goes wrong there is no accountability. Kabuki Theater for sure

Mike Frank is why I can’t listen to the majority of ISD stuff.
When it’s just Jamie & Gregg on the Hit and Hustle, I will listen, for example.
Anytime I turn on ISD and hear Mike Frank’s voice I immediately turn it off.

Once listeners realize that all Mike has to offer is complaining or saying someone “has a lot of potential,” it’s a wrap for Power Hour.

Bryan doesn’t need to post dancing GIFs to hint at commits when they announce they’re doing announcement shows in advance of a commitment and have never done an announcement show for a player who wasn’t going to pick ND.

On3’s model was to buy up any independent/failing site (like Justin Hopkin’s Oregon) or group of sites owned by one person looking to get out (like Stu Coman’s multiple teams) to fast track their business.

Stu wanted out of the online stuff & when Lou died it fast tracked his decision.
He paid minimum prices for a few younger people & refused to employ a full staff.
For years BGI had two recruiting analysts, plus Driskell who also covered recruiting.
Driskell left, then they went from two recruiting analysts to one, (Singer), so basically 3 guys covering recruiting to .5 covering recruiting.
Singer lives in Atlanta & basically refuses to travel to see or talk to recruits.
He went to Vegas, for other reasons, but says it was to see Morrison. He left the game at halftime & complained about having to go in the first place.
He says there is no reason for him to be in SB to meet recruits.
He has no contacts & gets 5th place scraps after 247, ISD, IB & Rivals.
Stu wasn’t going to shell out money to fill the staff with good people when he was selling anyways.

He was an intern at IB when they first started as Maven. He was KILLING Singer in recruiting coverage. It was bad.
So Stu offers Mason a paid internship to leave Maven and go to BGI. He did it to steal Mason from Driskell out of spite.
Singer was not happy about it & of course was a little bitch towards Mason.
After a year, Stu told Mason his year was up, see ya. No permanent offer or extension on his internship.
Singer, on the board, posts a goodbye to his, “brother from another mother,” and how he would always be welcomed back to post.
In reality Singer got pissy with Mason at the end & actually banned him from posting the last week on the job. That’s why you never saw Mason post again.

I can tell inside stories about Stu, BGI & Singer all day.
He is not well liked behind the scenes.

He’s a vindictive, sensitive, child, who hates ND fans & trashes them daily. Yet he covers ND.

You couldn’t pay me to be a message board moderator. But also I kind of miss the old internet 10+ years ago where it was the complete wild west. This newer suppressing people you don’t like or don’t agree with is no fun. BUT I would add it is not healthy. When polls are showing that up to 1/3 of respondents in USA think a civil war is likely on partisan lines in the next decade, I think allowing us to scream at each other is safer than than fascistic thought police that (in my opinion) leads to clubs and bullets instead of shouts and tears. There are a number of posters on here who are polar opposite of me on political issues (for example) and seeing their posts make me laugh, cry, or think they are stupid. And then their next post on some other topic makes you want to buy them a beer. If something as minor as IB wants to thought police I think it’s part of a creeping evil.

He said ND insiders were okay w Keeleys Bama visit but said he thought it wasn’t a great look (massive understatement). Some posters thought it was homerish to quote “An ND Insider saying they were okay with it” - many posts were taken down.

I'm loving @Reaper97 's vendetta against Singer - and that's me being 100% serious. It's exactly why I open up a thread called "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly."

I agree that I don't enjoy listening to the BGI podcasts because of Singer. Lacks any sense of professionalism on there. Mike Frank may be an out of touch old crank but at least he's not getting drunk while podcasting and putting that out as paid content.

He’s not from On3 he’s from 247. He’s sticking up for some OU writer that said like 2 weeks “there is a 100% chance Bowen decommits from ND”. He said it definitively despite no sources, which given his role he should not be doing. Quickly backtracked it, but since has posted things trying to troll ND fans. This is a 247 employed writer. Guys a hack. Not sure why Loy is getting so defensive. I’d be pissed if other people at my job were making a fool of my company too.
