Greathouse and Hanafin aren't locks, and neither is Flores with only 1 WR committed I think this is a huge mistake.

Given the reasoning provided, it’s clearing more than just #s at the WR position. I can’t go along with “this is a huge mistake” when ISD says “this might not be a great fit.”

That's how I took it as well. When I hear someone isn't a great fit, that tells me it has a high chance of being a decision you make now, or a decision that's made for you in a year or two because you tried to squeeze a round peg into a square hole. I'll personally give them the benefit of the doubt on this.

That said, they need as many WR irons in the fire as humanly possible.

Likely part of it would be my assumption as well. I also wonder if this is similar to 2023 QB recruiting where the early board for 2024 looks so promising that it might have an impact on the 2023 board for fringe "fits".
