That was fun to watch over the weekend, bring on Tennessee. Game time isn't announced yet but it should be played this weekend, June 10-June 13.

I know Tennessee had an otherworldly season this year but they had a couple of tight games this past weekend. They were only up one on Campbell (who we played last year in the regional round) until they had a four run 9th to make the game look more comfortable than it was. Then last night they had to come from behind with another 6 run, 9th inning rally to beat GT.

The way we're pitching, we can hang with anyone it seems, but we're going to need a bit more offense to make some noise in the super regional.

Bertrand should be ready to go game one.

Everything changes in the tourney. Let’s hope UT is finally slowing down after an impressive regular season. Would love to see ND upset the presumed Nat’l Champs! I think this is the one rare instance that even SEC teams in the Supers are rooting against their conference partner.

all i know is FUCK THESE ARROGANT ASSHOLE VOL FANS AND TEAM.......these fans and team act like they are the bama of the college baseball world.....they haven't won a national championship EVER and they just won an sec championship for the 1st time in 27 years.....i realize they are a phenomenal team, but i want nothing more than keep receipts and bring them out after saturday when we go 2-0 and head to Omaha!

When we win this series, I expect it to be in three games. I’m hopeful Bertrand can spin a gem game one and we can win the opener.

If that happens and it goes three games—how realistic is it to expect Bertrand to be available for 40-50 pitches on a day’s rest if we need him in game three?

I get it if it's a pitching schedule thing but to me. These series are war. Need your best to go early that way you could possibly bring him in Game 3 in late relief.

I think it’s because he went Sunday and also did his usual warmup and pitched an inning Friday before the rain delay.

I’ve gone back and forth about if I’d prefer him Game 1 or Game 2. I agree it would be great to have him as an option in relief for Game 3, but I’d be concerned if we pitched him game 1 and lost that we would mentally be in a rough spot headed into game 2. Although I guess that’s what happened last year when we played Mississippi State so perhaps not.

he's gonna be good for 100 pitches in his start...that's the norm with Bertrand anyhow. He's a horse and he usually goes deep into games. So he's not coming back in relief in game 3 either way.

It'll be Rao and Finley in the late innings.
