Nobody told Wolves about the no fit center backs.

They'll beat West Ham 5-0, shit on Noble's retirement cake and take turns shagging his wife.

In Wolves defense a draw basically did nothing for them yesterday, as far as trying to achieve a Europa conference league place, or even the small chance they had at Europa League.
They played an attacking side / tactics, and didn't sit ten men behind the ball for 90 mins like most teams do vs City & Liverpool.
If I were a Liverpool fan I would have been pissed how open they played that game, but at least mathematically a Wolves 4 goal loss wasn't much different then a 0-0 draw for what they're attempting to still achieve.

They spread their cheeks like everyone else. They conceded a hattrick to a midfielder in 17 minutes. I've seen Haley's Comet more times than I've seen that.

Diaz has been in the Premier League for four months and he's double teamed as soon as he reaches the final third. Salah gets surrounded like he's trying to get through airport security in America. These same teams play City and allow their attackers to prance around like they're going through a garden of tulips.

Two things true at the same time: City are very good and most teams in the Prem piss down their legs before the match even starts when facing them.

Teams walk out of the tunnel against City and they're beat.

This is the problem with officiating. Inconsistent, no accountability.

Just saw the highlight. At least in this case I can see where they have a leg to stand on. The defender's head was looking pretty much the opposite direction of the ball and he had his bodyweight into Son. However, I've heard on reddit that Tierney has been very inconsistent all game.

City plays the most entertaining soccer of anyone in the league and I don't think it's close. If you are a fan of an opposing team I understand why you wouldn't like them, but as a fan of good soccer what's not to like?

As much as I dislike City being a United fan, I rather enjoy watching De Bruyne play.

However, you could say the same for Liverpool also, when they are on, they are amazing to watch.

I think most city fans understand why opposing fanbases hate them. There really is no true defense to who their ownership group is.

All I would say is, John Henry, Stan Kroenke, and the Glazer family are not exactly outstanding people, and wouldn’t piss on any of us if we were on fire. I’ve just accepted that money is money when it comes to football ownership. I fully understand people don’t agree with that, and understand that opinion.

2022 has been a great year for sportswashing on multiple levels, but it's nothing new.

Neutrals are not going to like state run clubs. The supporters of said clubs probably are not going to care. Hell, ten years ago I was thrilled when City pipped a title from United on the last day of the season knowing full well how they got there and where it was going to continue to go. They'd gone decades without a title and the way that final day ended is something we likely won't see for a long time. It was a good story. Now they're the Skynet of English Football. Not long ago it was Chelsea. Soon it's going to be Newcastle. In the end, neutrals will still hate Liverpool and United too.

Pundits keep saying that the current path isn't sustainable. They are probably correct. FIFA, UEFA, the leagues don't have any kind of rules. FFP was a complete joke. Now there's no going back. Agents and the parents of players are receiving transfer fees worth tens of millions. It's madness.

I still enjoy the sport and think it has good stories to offer. Brentford and Luton Town in England, Salernitana in Italy (I hope they can stay up). I just think if you're looking for a plucky underdog story, which North American sports fans love, you're typically not going to find it in European Football. I doubt we live to see another Leicester City ever again in any country. There are plenty of managers that try to spin the underdog narrative, but they're not fooling anyone.

Supposedly that's where Haaland also wants to end up, but I have my doubts about that considering his family ties to City and City not being a seller club at all.

I don't know how Real would be able to have them both on their books, but there don't seem to be rules or fiscal parameters that make much sense to me anymore. Pandemic doesn't seem to have ended for Barca.

Draws prior to January 1st end up being the difference. Brentford, Brighton in particular. Losing to depleted Leicester was also a 2021 gut punch. That being said, the gap was 14 in January and this is going to the last day of the season with two cups in the bag and one more final to play. Remarkable.

You can't have 8 draws and pip a title in the City Era. It just isn't going to happen. Mid to high 90s points is what gets it done. I don't care how many fullbacks City have in jail.

Interestingly enough: the draws to Brentford and Brighton along with the loss to Leicester will all matches that came right after League Cup ties. Luis Diaz had not joined the squad just yet either.
