Have up a TD with under a minute twenty left. That's bad.
Crap play calling by Elston that drive. That was BVG esque. You don't send that much pressure with that much time left in the half till they cross midfield.
SMH..... Honestly this needs to get fixed. Been an issue all year. We literally let them score in 40 seconds
ND better figure out how to block for the running backs at half time. We need to eat clock in the second half.
I was behind and didn’t realIze it, again, lol.
What total ass that was. Freeman’s defenses have been rough around halves at times. Weird.

His prevent defense isn’t very preventing. The linebacker group of kiser, white and JD on prevent is not going to work out for you.
They are finally dropping 8, but I wouldnt start eating until one of these things happens
A: passing game slows down
B: 20+ point lead in 4th

Have to expect Oklahoma State to make changes at halftime to play coverage instead of blitzing // stopping the run.
ND defense needs to figure out what it’s doing once Oklahoma gets some momentum up tempo. Too many missed tackles and blitzes giving them opportunity for big plays. The huge chunk play at the end of the half was a direct product of them isolating a linebacker in coverage.
Personnel issue also. We still have some weak players on defense that are liabilities.
Coan with a better half of football than Ian Book ever dreamed of. In fact, that’s easily the best, big game, half of football we’ve got from a QB in a long long time.

Haven’t heard from Cam Hart today…..hamstring? I had a looooong night and never heard of him being out….

We need guys that can perform the functions of the scheme.
