I get that sentiment, but if OSU doesn’t adjust to the RPO game, a quick out for 4-5 yards is just as good to me, especially if Lenzy and KA continue to catch the ball.

I thought the same thing. Feel like we need more dbs on the field in those situations.

That was a tricky spot though I think they were afraid to give up too much in the run game since they had 3 timeouts to work with.

Without pressure this secondary is awful. I’m hopeful they get home in second half more. Gotta keep scoring obviously. Didn’t expect 4 tds in first half. I’m guessing Buchner may get a series at some point to juice the running game and make the OSU defense adjust….. Up 14 at half is a good spot though

Agreed.... Once they get rolling we've had trouble slowing them down.

In all reality we didn't stop them the last two drives. They dropped to open plays that saved us the series before

Personnel issue also. We still have some weak players on defense that are liabilities.

Possibly why we don't put the extra dbs on the field.

Kizer had some pretty big regular season games in big spots, nothing in a game like this, but it’s the first time since him I’ve felt the QB carried the O in a game like this

I’ll feel better with a stop after half. Kids are run blitzing like their hair is on fire and missing tackles. Long Islands own Jack Coan playing well. I think the run game will open up after half. We are winning matchups all over the field on offense. Nice to have speed and talent.
