It's funny you bring up ESB. He's the ND receiver I'm reminded of watching TM's game film.

But if TM learns to high point those 50/50 balls and out leverage defenders he'll be on a whole different level as a player.

Tobias has way more speed than Corey.

But, like others, ESB is probably his best ND player comp.

Great pick up for the Irish. Tobias is the type of player ND needs to get to the level of Alabama, Clemson, OSU. Tobias, Williams, and Walker will be a nice WR haul. Impressive back-back classes for the WR.

Develop them and play them early.

How committed do you consider Walker? I don't expect him in the class, just never got the hard commit vibe. It's the location, the visits, and the uptick in school's interest in him. I'm ok with or without him as this will be a great WR class as long as we get CJ Williams. Whoever the #3 is, our top two are great prospects so it's icing on the cake.

Yikes, BK was with Polian, Del, and Tommy for the in home visit tonight. The conversation somehow turned to his departure from Cincinnati and how disappointed he was with how it went down as far as not being able to talk to the team before it leaked. Within minutes of them leaving, the news that he was going to LSU was out there. The family reached out to the staff and BK told them that the rumor wasn't true, and called it BS. The rest of the staff is pissed because they were all visiting recruits/families and were completely blindsided by the news. Not an ideal situation at all.

I would be shocked if he doesn’t decommit after being lied to his face like that. Unreal.

Hopefully the Merriweathers continue to see the amazing opportunities that ND brings both athletically and academically for Tobias despite BK being a POS.

If I'm being honest I kinda respect Kelly trying to lock this kid down for ND. He could be out there doing nothing or poaching kids like Riley.

It's a bad look but it's a business and all that.


He should have told his assistants tho.

It’s about ‘23 and ‘24. The next time we are land a difference maker at WR in the portal will be the first time. It’s a must that we keep one of Merriweather/Williams.

What an incredibly f'd up thing to do that kid and his family, no to mention Del and Tommy who were probably blindsided as well.

Dude said the rumors were BS literally RIGHT BEFORE it was confirmed that he was leaving.

So I have my own theory of how BK actually helped TR and MFMF on his way out, but is there something more than in that article alluding to Tommy knowing ahead of time?
