I know he was quite the back coming out of HS. I seem to remember there being some "fit" issues with him and ND. I could be making that up, but I seem to recall something. The crack staff here will surely/rightfully correct me if I am wrong.
If he were a fit, would we consider him. Seems like we are in a pretty good spot depth wise at RB (knock on wood)

I believe his suspected hurdle with ND was books. After a short time at IU, I'll guess he's further away from being ND material than ever.
ND's not gonna be much of a player for undergrad transfers unless there's a seismic shift in how they view transfers.

Nice job by SBT’s Eric Hanson tracking all the ND transfers who are still active. Other than Jurkovec, most are still struggling to see the field.

Ewers has taken OSU stuff of his Instagram and there is homesick aka Sark doesn’t have a stone cold QB sick rumors. There’s a blackstripe or something OSU players get and he’s one of the only freshman not to yet. He also recently did not travel (this is all unconfirmed but what I read).
TCU Soph RB Zach Evans has done the same.

Wait for it, wait, wait.........
Wow! I haven’t looked at any of his tape nor have I dug into whether there are any character issues, but I did take a look at his rankings and me likey. IMO, he (probably) has a strong arm and great escapability to go along with all of the intangibles a QB needs. I hope he transfers in immediately to take over for Coan and starts for the next 2-3 years. I know Buchner is a true freshmen and we’ve only seen him in a handful of plays, but I just don’t think he has the “it” factor like Bailey (potentially) has!

I will be shocked if they keep both McCord and Ewers. It might not happen until after Spring ball, but I can't imagine both of those guys waiting until the spring of 2023 or fall of 2023 to know their fate.

Maybe, but I don't think USC is lacking with Dart. He could be a great fit for what is coming. What Riley runs and what Graham Harrell had are not terribly different. So there is reason to believe that Dart is in a good spot. At a minimum, anyone looking to transfer to USC will have to earn it. Which for many of these guys, means no dice.
