Hell yes! RBs would be crazy not to want to play for Taylor and ND. Imagine how much more damage this dude could do with an actual threat in the passing game.

So, this was posted by Freeman at ISD. And, if you watch the video you'll see two things. Kyren muscle the defender to the ground like a boss. But you'll also see Book throw to a covered Tremble for a first down while missing a wide open Javon for a TD. And of course that's the first thing someone at ISD commented on, haha

It's funny that this guy chose to showcase this play for Kyren's blocking as he was called for holding on it. But, it does show his physicality and willingness to block which I'm sure will be a benefit to his pro stock given his size/stature.

The throw to Tremble or Javon wouldn't have mattered because of the holding but I just get a kick out of it. Book, the 3 year starter, can't find the wide open guy in the middle of the field with a clean pocket.

I count it as a win that Book even stayed in the pocket despite the fact that he picked the wrong receiver. Prior years Book would've had his eyes down looking for a hole to run through to escape any hint of pressure.

That was always the most frustrating part of watching Book, and I'm not here to knock the dude. As frustrating as his pocket presence and field vision were at times, he more than made up for it with his knack of extending plays and his incredible creativity. Certainly the pocket stuff limited him and that was exploited by Clemson in the rematch and Alabama, but he didn't become ND's all time winningest QB on accident. I was a big fan of #12, but understand the frustration that others had in him. But there will come a day when we miss having a gun slinger like him.

But back to the main topic:
