Gooden started out at St John's College and then played last season at Good Counsel.

As I said in the Master Thread, this kid's closing speed is elite. Julian Okwara like... as is his frame. Once he gets off the block, he's at the ball in a blink.

Good Counsel is a program we're all familiar with. Cam Hart and Sam Mustipher went there.

First thing I saw was the height.

Don't like how they use that split face on the billboard.

To be finishing just his second year of HS with highlights like these.

Crazy.

Good Counsel churns them out, right? Not like St. Frances and their Biff Poggi finances, but GC has always had P5 Division I players year in and year out it seems.

I guess a great professional sport player whose son went to ND and played football wouldnt have anything to add to the conversation. Lol.

I was a big Doc and Strawberry fan at a young age. It was very random though. My paps was a big Yankees fan.

Those 2 guys were my favorite players. I was a child just getting into baseball and WWOR out of New York was on a lot of cable systems across the country.

I still remember crying my eyes out during the 9th inning of game 6 of the ‘86 ws. The end of that game might be my top sports memory. It’s like if the ‘06 MSU game was for the national championship.

His 84-85 seasons were amazing. I was a Reds fan but I watched as much Mets as I could.

Sounds like Doc has a ongoing/DUI substance abuse problem. Sucks. I hope he beats it.

It was all downhill after ‘85. After finding out that Dylan was Doc’s son, I did some reading about Doc, about some of his arrests. In 2010, he was arrested for DUI with his 5 year old son in the backseat. Yep, you guessed it, it was Dylan.

Addiction is no joke, folks. I’m kind of surprised, after 35ish years of abuse, that he’s still alive.

What is the scoop on this guy? Thread hasn't been touched in over a year.

Has taken visits to Penn State, Rutgers, Va Tech and Pitt.

No chance for ND here? Game Highlights are on fire.
