Was sad to hear this, but I feel he's too talented not to end up somewhere.

Both Darius and Rhema have now been cut by Houston and Saints respectively. Let's hope they get picked up by another team in the NFL or perhaps, the Canadian League. I feel Charlie will do all he can to help them.

Once again: Darius got picked back up by the Texans. (Though that doesn't mean he won't be cut again.)

well, good to hear someone already picked him up.

rhema is the number 2 all-time receive at ND. He tied for the single season touchdown record (which made Jeff god the year before but pretty much got ignored when rhema did it). all this didn't happen by accident. and off the field, he's a heck of a guy. i know nfl teams don't really care about that, but it gives him a big plus in my book.

He's been cut again:

Also cut were cornerback Quinton Jones, safety Miguel Merrick, linebacker Zach Latimer, offensive tackle Mike Jones, guard Jeremy Sheffey, quarterback Brett Elliott and wide receivers Rhema McKnight, Rich Musinski and Sonny Shackelford.

Too bad.

If the Bills needed a WR, I'd be all for getting him.

He was my 3rd favorite behind Stovall and Samardzija, but I do wish him the best of luck.

I respect the guy a lot, so please no responses telling me to "show the guy some respect."

All I'm stating here is the truth (as I see it, admittedly.) He was an above-average college receiver on an explosive offense with BQ delivering the ball to him.

His projection to NFL WR: He lacks speed and, more importantly, drops too many balls (think: SC game last year.)

He was less than impressive in the Senior Bowl practices (with plenty of NFL coaches/scouts observing,) dropping balls left and right. One can only assume his performances in the two camps he was at were similar.

Again, this is just the way I see it, but there are obviously multiple other (much more qualified people) who either have made a similar evaluation or have found other problems that prevent him from being an NFL WR.

Again, I am not disrespecting him; he did great here, but he also had a lot of help in doing so, and this is not the NFL. Honestly, I'm not one bit surprised about him not making a team. Anyone else that watched the Senior Bowl practices shouldn't be either; and if you're thinking, "Oh, it's just the Senior Bowl," then why do so many NFL coaches and scouts go out of their way to get there? Contrary to what some may say, it's not because it's in Hawaii; it's because it's a free look at top prospects from schools all over the country in one trip. Bottom line: he didn't impress, and evidently hasn't done so in camps either.

Obviously I wish him the best of luck...he's actually probably better off not getting caught up in the meat-market that the NFL is for players of his talent level.
