"IT" (my definition) is an overwhelming feeling that one receives from watching a potential player, knowing that he could break any moment through, around, over and into the end zone or having the ability to change or affect the game every time you touch the ball. I've never said that I don't appreciate Allen, Tate, Prince and so on. However, I do not get the same impression watching their films. Allen was hurt before defenses could single in on him. Tate, was supposedly playing against sub-par defenses. And Prince, was heavily recruited by Iowa and not many other "big-Boys" (although he does have blazing speed). I think that coaches see McGuffie and see the homerun threat every carry. Apparently, I'm not alone. Bob Stoops, The poodle, Urban seem pretty high on this kid as well. Just didn't understand all the knocks earlier in this thread on him. He's good! I hope we get him!

----You cannot tell someone has it from a Rivals video. Charlie said Brady had "IT" during a presser and now everybody thinks you can stick anybody with that word. The thing is Brady is an NFL player and McGuffie was a Jr. in HS. If you can tell McGuffie has "IT" by watching a Rivals highlight film then I guess I can find 300 other prospects that have "IT" too. Please stop....

First of all, "Irishknight", as stated: "my definition". Everyone has their own interpretation of what "it" is. Enough said. Is that all you got? "Who can tell if somebody's got it by a Rivals video?" Well I'm pretty sure there's a reason for those. It must be to showcase their flaws? Also, one more note as far as his attitude goes, Ricky Waters wasn't the most humble of a man either and he worked out pretty good. Just some random thoughts...

I don't know why but the kid just doesn't scare me. I don't think he can break tackles and you'll need more than speed. In HS he has those mack truck holes, but it won't be that way against ND. K-Fed will be fed to Omar Hunter soon enough.

Not to listen to them tell it. We're getting all the ones they really didn't want or weren't interested in anyway. Now that they've got Vanilla Ice, they can now claim that they finally have a victory over us in this recruiting class, and that from here on out, it's gonna be them that lands every blue chipper left on the board. Michigan is a juggernaut not only on the field but on the recruiting trail as well, don't any of you forget that!!! Yaaaay, Michigan, Go Blow!!!!!!!!

Central Texas here, and Houston area is where this kid is from, and the Cypress Area is kinda Urban where he goes to high school. But hell these days, rich kids are thugging it out because of a perverted pop culture tells them it is cool to act that way, and later in life fail. Anyways, he looked injured last night, or just LAZY. I was looking forward to seeing him on ESPN 2 and he ran well...but the other stuff he couldn't care less. The two men doing the game even commented on how he threw give up blocks in a crucial time in the game. (highly athletic, but this guy might be reading to far into his own you tube clips-someone needs to get in his ear and keep him leveled)
