Welcome Filer, I look forward seeing you mess b*tches up (especially the UM). Oh, and I'm not talking about women, I'm talking about the opponents football players, and I'm implying that you will takle them well. Nothing unnatural or anything.

if CB is as good as a def. coordinator as he is a recruiter, we are going to have a great year. i hope CB was signed to a long term deal b/c i wouldn't want anything to happen to him.

Holy Cow I thought he was gonna commit tomorrow I guess not. Good deal. I've heard rumors of them moving Filer to OLB instead of MLB and put MacDonald at MLB so. I see Filer starting right away. I see a lot of our Defensive Recruits starting right off the bat. Johnson, Filer, McCarthy, Newman, Cwynar, Brown because those guys are better than what we got right now the ones I like on campus right now are Smith, Mo Rich, Zibby, Ryan and T. Smith. Look for a lot of freshmen to start next year. Because they are a lot talented than what we have. The future is looking good.

I think that's getting a little ahead of ourselves.

First, what are these rumors about Filer playing OLB? From all accounts, he was recruited to play inside.

And the names you listed, while it'd be great to see them start, they haven't even embarked on their senior seasons. I'm pretty sure expecting all, and even just a few, of the names you mentioned to start is a pretty big jump.

Look at the game of last year our D was horrible. We have more athletic, bigger, faster, stronger, better players that are in high school. That can make an impact like that. I wish they were on campus right now!!!!

I look at all the boards and they say Filer will be an OLB because they say he's a straight line guy and can disrupt the player. As a MLB they say he's not suited for MLB as McDonald is. They say Filer is like a Shawne Merriman type.

Well the coaches told him ILB. Big pickup and that makes an ungodly 19 commitments already and it could reach 20 by the end of the week. The article I read said Filer 37 offers, besides OSU, and UM what were the other big ones?

------And he said in another article how he liked OSU and UM in beginning. So much for the "lock" everyone referred to him as. It's funny everybody who in the beginning prefers one school they wind up choosing the Irish.

It's really great to finally have Steve on board. He definately is one of my favorite recruits so far this year.

In other words, guilt by association, but back to the topic at hand, and I can't believe that the first word I thought of is: I'm soo stoked!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting patiently for him to commit to us, then I wasn't sure he was, now that he has, I can't wait to see him on the field. He's been one of my favorites since he got one of our first offers back in Sep. Welcom to the family Mr. Filer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news, I just checked from vacation in Mexico. Welcome aboard Mr. Filer. CW has to get busy and recruit some offense or the D is going to be beating up the offense in practice soon.
