I don't know where your info is coming from Pete. All the guys over at DD have him in town the 5th, 6th, and probably committing on the 7th before he leaves. I was just wondering if we could get a confirmation from someone at campus that he is in fact there with his father

Stanford (HC is an ex-NFL QB), Purdue (Joe Tiller's spread), Michigan (a bit of a tossup, if Carr leaves but he always throws more than he should since Chris Perry left), USC (self explanitory), Nevada (that funky half shotgun offense), BYU (similar to Purdue's offense).

And that doesn't include the balanced attacks we see that go to more of a 3 receiver/spread look with increasing frequency (Michigan State, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh). And doesn't it seem like more and more coaches that get fired are replaced by guys that bring in passing pedigrees? But I digress.

And let's not forget good ol' LSU in there for good measure.

Weird. Everyone at DD had him visiting the 5th, 6th, and 7th of July. The 26th would be nice if true because that might line up with visits from Filer and Sabino as well. Not saying anything towards you guys but Scout also didn't have ND as a school if interest for Omar and countless other "mishaps." Either way it's a win-win situation. JB knows spots are filling up. He is coming up to make sure he likes the campus and atmosphere and commits before he leaves. If he could swing some momentum in late July for Filer and Sabino...icing on the cake

My inside has it that he originally had planned his visit for this weekend but he's moved his visit back to the 26th citing it as a matter of travelling. He will be visiting other schools before he hits South Bend but there shouldn't be much worry of him not pulling the trigger on his visit at this point.

When he mentioned he was coming up for the 5th-7th, he still hadn't found any airline tickets for that. Urban Meyer probably bribed Delta to raise there rates for him

Brown moves up visit to ND - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports

Coach Brown said they didn't want to fill up before I had the chance to check it out," Brown said. "He said that with the great class they are bringing in, other guys want to get in and he didn't want me on the outside looking in."

----------Move quickly Jeremy your opportunity is right in front of you, or you can try to accept a fake scholarship from Urbadouche.

Somebody tell JBs dad that Alliegiant Air flies out of Sanford, an Orlando suburb, directly to South Bend Airport twice a week for cheap.

Didn't a plane crash into a house from their today?
Might not be the best time to tell them about it

I just read on recruiting planet that later this month not only Brown, Filer, and Sabino will be visiting, but also TJ Bryant and Matt Patchan... anybody else hear anything of the sort or say if it is true or not?

Patchan is supposedly coming up with Sabino.

TJ Bryant is a name I haven't heard in quite a while in connection to ND. I think he got too close to Jason Kates' buffet tray and disappeared.

jeremy brown wanted to hurry up to get to sb, now he says he has his 5 official visits set up. this doesn't seem like a lock to me?so if he verbals when he visits does weis let him take his visits?

--------No, he'd have his scholarship revoked and he'd be replaced. He can still set up all the officials he wants just in case South Bend isn't what he's looking for, but chances are it will be and he'll be Irish by the end of his extended stay there.

The visits could mean a number of things.

It could just be posturing, like we saw from Robert Blanton's camp (who said he'd probably decide sometime in August  ).
It may be that he's legitimately interested in all five, and that he fully plans to wait to decide.
It may be that he's keeping all of his options open, should South Bend fail to meet expectations, or actually turn him off. We can't be too certain on anything.

What I do know is, if he were to verbal, the other officials would get canceled.

I'm not sure he'd have his scholarship revoked, would he? I thought Weis just said something to the effect of "if they're looking, we're looking." That doesn't necessarily mean revocation. We need some WR's on board badly, and the longer Floyd/Brown/Baldwin take, the less likely I think CW would pull a scholarship from Jeremy. Maybe a new offer though. Just my opinion.

I agree with you that I still like our chances with Jeremy.

You're right about revocation. If he does continue to look, I wouldn't really say that his spot in the class is safe, though.
