Nwankwo has slimmed down to 270, and is being groomed to play a DE in the 3-4. Seems to be very excited about the prospect of doing so, and is adjusting his training regimen to conform with being a Defensive player from this point on. Has been doing spring workouts with his high school team.

Emeka is also certainly hoping that team mate Jordan Futch will get an ND offer, and that Futch and his fellow LB & buddy, Etienne Sabino, will make a visit to South Bend.

Doesn't look like it, never saw anything else to confirm it. Last time Sabino talked about coming to ND, it was to be in the summer, with no mention of Futch being with him. Futch is probably not going to make the trip without an offer, although according to Mike Farrell, Futch told him that he does have one. However, there seems to be a lot of confusion as to the accuracy of that statement as no one, including Rivals, lists Futch as an ND offer.

thanks IUB for clearing up the confusion. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Futch offered if it meant both he and Sabino would be coming to ND, then our LB recruiting would be finished w/o any more worries there!

More info on Futch/Sabino would seem to indicate that is unlikely. See my Futch post.

the article that started this initial thread is now free for everyone to enjoy. I was stunned to see he's already down to 270. He will definitely need to get strong though as his bench is only 290 (if I'm not mistaken, I believe Cave can bench 400 lbs already! - he's gonna be a monster and I believe he's very underrated right now)

Is there any film on him? His game is tailor made for the IFL. The Danger are LOADED this year. I think, with the right coaching, he could be an all-pro there. Maybe even, dare I say it, a future hall of famer.
