I hope every Bernie supporter in the country looks at all the WikiLeaks stuff and realize just how badly their candidate got screwed... and then vote accordingly in November.

I mean...none of this is shocking to me in the least...

Media bias;
We have known since Walter Cronkite, that there has been a liberal lean in the majority of the press...and since Rush and then FOX news, a conservative lean has emerged there. Thus one must assume they coordinate message with their preferred lean...The only thing different is the fools who actually try and refute it need to STFU now.

This particular issue cited...Trump SHOULD sue. If you know there is a reasonable basis for a statement, and you savage the person for the purpose of destroying their credibility anyway, while James Comey may struggle to find intent/malice...no one else would....I'm guessing Trump has all the grounds he needs to at least bring a suit.

welp...I guess we're in for a story of how she used to be a seething racist who saw crime as a black issue, and suggested "they" be brought to heel, hated homosexuals...but has evolved in only a way a democrat could.

Too rich...she has no mooring...she is empty...she is evil. She is Lucifer.

...damn it buster I was having a great day...

...she has a bowling trophy, so same thing....I'm still staying with Lucifer.

This meme has circulated several times. It's like the one with "Bill and Hillary" at a costume party and she's in black face. Except it's not Bill. And it's not Hillary.

If Schultz is done with politics and the party eliminates super delegates then I would consider Sanders' campaign an enormous success.

I suppose so...but that doesn't help the people who now feel particularly indignant and have the words "System is Rigged" ringing in their ears.

I think the numbers that would actually vote Trump are <5%. But how many stay home? The get out the vote campaign may have just gotten a little harder...we'll see.

I must not get out enough...I seriously never saw this one...I may have seen the black face one... Whoever did the Photoshop on the flag did a pretty good job. It did not scream fake to me...

DWS out as Committee chair...

Following the convention, it appears. Hillary would be smart to drive her out of Philadelphia personally and leave her on the side of interstate 95. It would be a mistake to let her anywhere near that convention given the circumstances. DWS actually sent out a statement claiming she will still speak and gavel each day in and out. That must not happen or it will overtake everything else like the speech from Trump's wife.

Look I'm staunchly on the other side of the aisle here...

...but to me, if the deal was, DWS speaks at the convention, but then GTFO...That'd be a good deal for Dems. Who cares about the convention? Seriously, who takes that shit seriously? Its like pointing to a pep rally, and looking for reasons why we lost..or won. Whomever got that deal...if that is the deal...should be given a raise.

Any Bernie supporter that truly believes in the totality of Bernie's movement and policies who votes for Trump is a bigger dumbfuck than those Trump supporters who fully endorse/support Trump. Other than trade (and even that they don't fully agree on), Bernie is the complete opposite of Trump. Bernie HATES Trump and has said so every chance he gets. Any BernieBro who votes for Trump means they don't believe in socialism or any of Bernie's vision of the USA.

And I say this as someone who believes in capitalism and wouldn't have voted for Bernie in a million years. But these short-sighted "bros" and "bras" that are now voting for Trump are a joke and obviously never believed in what Sanders believes in. Ted Cruz and his evil looking rat-face has more conviction and principle in his pinkie than that subset of Bernie Bros.

Maybe he was referring to Gary Johnson?

It's being reported she has agreed to step down AFTER the convention.

I'd say the convention is more than just a pep rally. It's where young up and comers like Obama make speeches that thrust them into the national spotlight. It's where a campaign can demonstrate its ability to coordinate a cohesive message and set the tone for the general election. It's a place for getting the party behind a set of principles that will become the identity of the party moving forward.

All of these things take a hit if there are unforced errors that distract attention away from intent. Trumps chaotic convention didn't help him, and may have hurt him. This week is a chance for the Dems to get a running start and get a big bump. Hillary had an opportunity to root out a person who didn't operate in good faith, embarrassed the party and threatened to further alienate Berners who were already on the fence. Forcing her away would have sent a message to them and everyone that she would not stand for thumbs on the scale. Instead she reinforces the narrative that she's a shameless insider who protects the person who ran interference for her during the primaries. It feels like a mistake to keep her on in any capacity. And as a Bernie guy, it is certainly an irritation.

Does the convention matter to this election cycle all that much? I don't think so. It may have back when there wasn't 24/7 information...but I'd say the meaning of the stuff we see is little more than a pep rally and a reason for pundits to obsess ...so meh. For the same reason "set of principles" can morph as fast as candidates want or need them to...so meh. I do agree however, it can help someone hunting for their place in the political scene.

...if the democrat ticket hasn't taken a hit for any of the shit thats happened thus far...DWS getting caught doing shit we all knew she was doing shouldn't really register on anyone's give a shit meter beyond this week...as well if it goes badly, then you fire her, you can blame her for everything....and bring in the new person, and the machine rolls on, referring all questions on the subject to the departed DWS.
