Right, wrong, or indifferent, I can see this guy having a violent death at some point. Dude can't stay out of conflicts involving guns, and sooner or later it's going to catch up with him.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/george-zimmerman-insults-trayvon-martins-023434880.html

George Zimmerman said the parents of Trayvon Martin "didn't raise their son right," also calling the Black Lives Matter movement a "fraudulent, violent campaign"

told The Daily Beast that Martin's mom and dad, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, were bad parents who were "capitalizing" on their son's death.

Four years after the shooting, Zimmerman is also auctioning off the gun he used to kill Martin.

Despite the overwhelmingly negative attention and fake listings the auction has garnered — including a $65 million bid from a user named "Racist McShootface" — Zimmerman says he has a firm offer with verified assets for $100,000.

He added to The Daily Beast that auctioning off the gun was what the forefathers would do, though he said he originally wanted to keep the weapon for his future children and grandchildren.

"It is what was used to save my life from a near-death brutal attack by Trayvon Martin," he said, adding that he wanted it to be worth "as much as possible."

Dude is fucked up. I see no other explanation

Previous Shooting at Zimmerman by Apperson

Judge returns Matthew Apperson to jail - Orlando Sentinel

Rene Stutzman Staff writer

N.B. 12/10/15

SANFORD — A judge today said no again to a bond request by Matthew Apperson, the man accused of shooting at George Zimmerman during a road rage confrontation.

That means he'll stay in the Seminole County jail indefinitely.

Apperson, 37, of Winter Springs is charged with attempted second-degree murder and other counts for shooting at Zimmerman as the two men drove down Lake Mary Boulevard in separate vehicles May 11.

Apperson admitted he shot at Zimmerman but says that's because Zimmerman had just pointed a gun at him and threatened to kill him.

Zimmerman's attorney, Don West, says that's not true.

Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson today listened to ten minutes of argument by attorneys for both sides then without explanation denied Apperson's bond request.

Apperson did not testify.

Five months ago the judge also said no to a similar request.

But things have changed. Since then Apperson was convicted of disorderly conduct – for urinating on his neighbor's front door when no one was home.

He's finished serving his jail sentence for that crime.

Today defense attorney Trey Flynn told the judge that Apperson's wife has signed a lease on a new home that's several miles from where the couple formerly lived and where the public urination took place.

If released, Apperson would move there and would no longer be a threat to his old neighbors, Flynn said.

But Assistant State Attorney Stewart Stone argued that in July the judge denied bond because Apperson was accused of violating the law while free on $35,000 bond, and that hasn't changed. He's now been convicted of violating the law while free, Stone argued.

A jury convicted Apperson of disorderly conduct Oct. 21, and Seminole County Judge Debra Krause sentenced him to 60 days in jail, time he's already served.

Another defense attorney, Michael Lafay, has filed an appeal.

Apperson has a history of mental illness.

Zimmerman is the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer acquitted in Sanford in 2013 of murdering Trayvon Martin, a black 17-year-old, a case that set off civil rights demonstrations across the U.S. and abroad.

In the road rage case, Apperson's bullet passed near Zimmerman's head but missed. Zimmerman suffered cuts, however, from shards of glass or metal and was taken to a nearby hospital.

If the prosecution lawyers didn't suck so bad, he'd be in jail already for murdering Trayvon Martin. Think of all the misery that could have been avoided.

Bragging that he killed someone? He deserves more than a punch in the face.
